I’ll be visiting other locations from now on due to the lack of friendliness and help from the employees and issues with my mailed coupon during my visits yesterday and today at this location. Yesterday, I was walking down an aisle with my friend when an employee cut her off without any acknowledgment of what occurred, but the customer they were leading down the isle apologized. I was originally just there for my friend and wasn’t going to purchase anything, but decided I would because I had a coupon from a mailed-in pamphlet. At checkout, I was told the item I wanted didn’t work for my coupon, but the employee said nothing more and I was left there trying to solve the problem myself but couldn’t. The line was long and I couldn’t find out why my item wasn’t working, so I ended up not getting it and just told myself I’d visit the next day if I figure out the problem and can use the coupon. I assumed it didn’t work because I needed to spend more or it wasn’t activating properly. When I got home, I looked into it and found out the item I wanted was excluded because it’s a prestige product, but I wasn’t aware of that because I had never bought the brand before. I went back today and picked out things I knew would work with the coupon. When I got to the register, they told me the coupon had already been used. I explained what happened the day before, assuming it’s saying it’s been used because the coupon got scanned but the transaction wasn’t fulfilled. The employee instantly explained that no overrides will occur and that I would have to pay full price. The way it was worded and no mention that it could be the system that accidentally marked it as used made it sound like I was trying to get away with using an already used coupon. The only reason I was getting items was because of the coupon, so I left without buying anything again. Between the rude employees and the coupon issues, it was such a disappointing experience and I will just go to other locations or stores to buy makeup...
Read moreThis is absolutely this WORST location out of all the Ulta locations I have EVER visited! This is NOT the first time I have had issues with this location either. I moved to Burleson two years ago, prior to this I always visited the location in south Arlington at The Highlands.
Today, 12/17/16 I went into the Ulta location in Burleson to get Pur Minerals makeup that I needed. It was 8:00 pm, I walked around for 10 minutes and had to walk around the entire store to find anyone to assist me. Finally, I spoke to 2 different employees who acted as if they were too busy. I ended up getting help from another customer who was in the salon waiting on her foils to process.
I ended up purchasing 6 Pur items and then went to the register with my Platinum Rewards 20% off coupon, the girl rang up my items and then gave me the total. After my card was processed she was placing my items in the bag, she noticed she didn't charge me for an eyebrow pencil so she wanted to void my entire transaction and ring it up again. I asked her if she could just ring it up separately and use the coupon, she said No, but she could give me some free items of her choosing instead. What the heck??? She left the register for almost 5 minutes to get a manager. When the manager showed up, she was clueless and after exposing it again she wanted to void my transaction and re charge my card. I think it is crazy that she didn't have the authority to process a 20% discount on the one item rather than go through all this hassle. The manager still wanted to void my transaction and re ring it up again. I once again, told her that I did not want to do that because I would then have to wait for the refund to hit my credit card for up to 7 days!
What great customer service!!! This is the 2nd time this has happened to me at this location. I'm not going back!!! I think some retraining...
Read moreHave shopped with a ULTA for years and never had anything but positive experiences until I visited this location on Saturday 12/16/23. Dania and the other young lady working the register around 11:15AM were extremely rude and unhelpful. I needed to return a curling iron without a receipt that was gifted to me. I was given a very hard time even with me stating that I understood I could only be issued store credit- in which I was going to apply towards the purchases I was making for the day. The two girls basically told me they had no way to verify it was purchased from ULTA and the way they spoke to me came across as though they thought I was trying to pull some kind of scam. Not to mention while I checked out my $140 worth of new merchandise, I was snubbed because of the previous interaction. You ladies need to learn your company polices and how to provide better customer service because it clearly states on the back of your receipts/website that "Returns without a receipt or rewards number can be issued store credit for the lowest retail price at which the product was sold during the 90 day period preceding the return." I immediately called the cooperate office to complain and they assured me that I should have been offered store credit. I decided to visit to another location to complete my return because I refused to speak with these two again. Happy to say I was treated wonderfully at the other location and no issues given what so ever as I experienced at the Burleson store. Perhaps had I not come dressed down as I did that day, I would have been treated better by the superficial staff. I still love ULTA and will continue to shop here, but hopefully never have to encounter...
