At Home — Local services in Burnsville

I came in a couple of times to look at a kitchen table. Found one I liked but literally no one in the store to help me locate it as it was not out on the floor. Went home and purchased online for store pick up the same day so they clearly had it in stock. Arrived once it was ready and did curb side pickup. Gave the description of my vehicle, where I was parked and pushed the “I’m at the store” button. Waited for over 20 minutes. Had to eventually go park and go inside then wait it another 10 minute long line just to ask where my order was. Told them I had been waiting for curbside, and no one came out. Someone went back to look for it and another 5 minutes later they came out with my order. I had to call my son to come help me load it into my vehicle. There was no apology for no on ever bringing the order out, nor was there an explanation as to why it was taking so long. Disappointing experience. Make me not want to...

Purchased 6 wicker seat cushions. The cashier rang up incorrectly. She couldn't rationalize the adjustment. We explained to her what the correction should be. She rang up a refund for the correct amount and charged us correctly for one cushion rang up incorrectly. Come to find out she cancelled the adjusting refund. At the end of the day we were overcharged $50.

As an update to the original post above; someone from At Home replied to my Google review and indicated they would investigate and provided the customer service contact email. A day later a $54 credit was processed on my AMEX. I am impressed by At Home's recovery in proactively contacting me and making the adjustment by applying the proper credit. Wow! It's been about 18 months since we've been to this location, primarily due to the pandemic, but I have to say this visit was incredibly disappointing. Most of the shelves were empty. And it didn't feel like this was an issue because everybody had been shopping there and bought everything. The empty shelves felt like they are having supply chain issues. There was very little to choose from especially in regards to seasonal items, such as pots, outdoor cushions, umbrellas, outdoor furniture, etc. This was our first visit where we actually didn't came home with anything. In all of our previous visits we've always found something to bring home. Bottom line, it really depends on what you're looking for.
