Sierra — Local services in Burnsville

There is a young boy around 16/17 years old that helped me do a return -He was remarkable and had wonderful customer service skills ( i commented and he attributed it to his parents ) however then I attempted to put something on hold because I needed to check the sizing of a member of my family member. The next day when i called in the MANAGER adruptly told me that that is not their policy to hold items overnight !!!! NOT AT ALL KIND nor service oriented. It’s sad to say That is the manager, and they represent the company. I’m grateful that the first young boy that serviced me was so kind because he certainly did not learn it from his manager. I used to work at Eddie Bauer as a a manger and the customer service skills were always a priority and customer accommodating. Seems like that is gone these days and it’s very sad. They have great deals at Sierra , but because of the lack of customer service skills that were implemented from the Manager I will not be...

This location in Burnsville is so much better than the other one I had been to in Eden prairie. I highly recommend visiting here. The selection is just better. I found more than what I had needed. The employees were helpful. Be careful if planning to use Apple Pay here though. My Apple Pay would not work, a lot of the time I don’t carry a card on me. So plan I’m having a card if you are like me. The biggest improvement over ep was in clothes and shoes and sporting equipment. They have a home section that I really liked too. One of my favorite stores! It is like TJMAXX & REI had a baby! (Technically Sierra and TJMAXX are owned by the same company) Lots of great brands and great finds.
