I eat here frequently, not just Chipotle but this location in particular for lunch during work. I use the online ordering 95% of the time. For the most part, the staff seem friendly and given that when lunch time rolls around, they get slammed with customers, I understand that they do their best to help every customer and get people out the door.
That being said, the one complaint I have with this location is that my online orders are often messed up. I have gotten to the point where before I leave, I compulsively open the lid of my bowl to check that the order was made correctly. In the past, I have gone back to the counter to ask the staff to remake it - Yesterday, I did not check the bowl before leaving the store, and low and behold, it was once again covered in cheese when I did not order cheese. I'm not trying to be a bother, but I'm counting calories and when they add heaping piles of cheese all over my bowl (this has happened a dozen or more times in the past few months) instead of lettuce like I ordered, it makes it difficult to track what I'm eating. It seems to be specifically when I order lettuce, for some reason I get cheese instead, almost without fail.
In my experience, when I've tried to politely ask to have the order remade, most of the time, the staff seems fine with it, but one time a few months ago I had a pretty bad experience where the person I gave the bowl back too was NOT happy with me and it showed.
I used to manage a restaurant for a few years, I know how it is. And I've seen plenty of ungrateful customers in this Chipotle giving the staff a hard time.. it's cringe worthy. I'm not trying to be that person - I just think there are little adjustments that can be made for the better. Slow down, read the order, get it right. Other than that, from what I've seen I think they do a great job - and the register staff are super friendly! Kudos for that. ...
Read moreAwful experience, will not be returning. Waited in line for 20 minutes which is not the issue and is to expected because imo the service and quality should compensate for wait time. Not the case today. My 11 year old daughter who is normally a big fan and I stopped for takeout. When our turn came, we were greeted with smugness. I asked for a half chicken, half babacoa bowl, white rice, light pinto beans (slightly specific but I didn't think it was too difficult) and she proceeded to put veggies on it. I politely corrected her and she scraped a few veggies off, the were still so many in the bowl and then piled pinto beans on top. She then shoved the bowl down the line and directed her attention to the next customer. Did not say a word more to me. I asked the next lady if I could have it remade. She, had nothing but attitude, threw the bowl together and then put veggies on there after I just explained why I requested it to be remade. I mean I get that it can be loud in there but I was speaking up and if you didn't hear fully, shouldn't you make sure you heard me correctly before you proceed to add extra stuff??? Instead of being apologetic, it upset the person making my bowl. My daughter's bowl was was piled with rice and had barely any meat on it. I regret not saying "you know what, keep the bowls" and walking out but I didn't want to seem rude. But I really should have just walked out and kept my $20 bucks. Funny, I was the one worried about coming across rude when I am the one paying. I'm not asking them to cater to me but quality made bowl and decent service shouldn't be too much to ask, maybe even smile? Idk. Especially when after I drove to taco bell right down for road (for my son) paid a fraction of the price and had a completely pleasant experience. Not okay chipotle, perhaps brush up on your customer...
Read moreI had a bad enough experience to compel me to write this review - and I don't typically go out of my way to write reviews.
Chipotle should be a fairly consistent experience from location to location. If this location didn't have a sign out front, I wouldn't have even known it was a Chipotle upon walking in. The whole place was a mess. The kitchen and dining area were filthy and the numerous associates chatting with each-other didn't appear to mind one bit. Which brings me to my main gripe with this location, this was some of the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. I don't even know where to begin. From the obnoxious associate sliding a trash can around the dining area like some sort of game; to the inappropriate conversation of the group of workers circled up and socializing right behind the burrito assembly line. Even the few associates that were engaged had a poor attitude. I really put them out by trying to help them get my order right (whilst being extremely polite). I actually just called it "good" at one point despite not getting all of my order.
There was simply no semblance of professionalism at any level. I really can't blame the negative demeanor of those that finally managed to get my partial order into a bag. After all, they were at least trying to work amidst a sea of inept colleagues. This wasn't a place of work, this was an adult daycare center. I hope it improves for others but I wont be back...
