I want to start by saying, I love Starbucks and normally I get excellent service from them. However, this evening I wasn't that impressed. My husband and I went to the City Market to do our weekly grocery shopping and before we actually did said shopping I wanted a drink from Starbucks (venti unsweet green iced tea). When got there, there was only one person working and she seemed to have been having issues understanding the order that person in front of us was placing. When it was my turn to order, the worker again seemed a little confused at what my order was. Because sometimes it's hard to understand what I say, I often have to repeat myself at most twice, which fine, but this evening, between both my husband and I, we had to repeat my order to the worker at least 4 times.
After the worker finally got my order correct and I paid for my drink, we went to wait for them to make my order. We had waited at least 10 minutes or so and in that time, the employee had served at least 2 or 3 more customers, never once even attempting to get my order completed. My husband got up and kindly asked about when my drink would be ready, only to find out the employee had completely forgotten about us. Now I feel I should state that this employee wasn't a manager or supervisor. As they were finally making my drink they said that we wouldn't be charged for it, when we reminded them that we had already paid for the drink (as is standard when going to restaurants like this - pay first than you get your order), and then they were like "oh yeah, well i'll get you an IOU." After getting us our order, the tore a page out of a note poke wrote the IOU on it and then handed it us. As nice as it was for them to try to do this, I'm pretty sure (and I could be wrong) that they didn't have the authority to give out free drinks. It didn't feel right taking it, so we didn't keep the paper that was handed to us.
Like I said normally I don't have issues with Starbucks (either location in town), but this evening's experience, I feel that this person shouldn't have been left alone as they seemed to get confused and be forgetful...
Read moreThe area is a place of absolutly beautiful financial growth with amazing weather patterns completely surrounded by Crustacean exposed upheaval and valleys that are a gasp of amazement and always yielding spectacular gifts of earthly delights, such as a river that flows with water and the gift of Au(Gold) and Mountain tops covered with tools of sweat and blood, leaving behind tailings of platinum and silver and domicile for the bear the badger and those who soar through the air! And with a quip to open the minds eye, I ask one thing, and that would be- What is it You get when You Chuck a piano into a mining pit, a quarter mile deep right smack dab upon the head of some unknowing prospector toiling away with sweat and blood from his fingers, think of that surprise, one moment, ureikaaaa, and the next pick in daisies. Now, my quip I yield, what is produced from a terrible outcome, that I can say the poor slob never knew it was coming, and produced today for Your musical delight the soothing sound of "A flat minor", now ain't that just music to the ears? Read moreI stopped going to the actual Starbucks store because they’re super inconsistent and made the coffee different every time so I started going to this store because it seemed to be better but let me tell you I just had the absolute worst coffee. Only go to this store if you see the manager or the super sweet taller blonde lady working that’s the only time to get coffee from here. I called into the store today to order ahead and the lady that answered “Tracy” said she wouldn’t take over the phone orders so I went inside and ordered a brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso it’s supposed to have blonde espresso shots and oatmilk in it but this thing is about 99% coffee and nothing else…it looked strange and even tasted not only incredibly strong like you’d imagine motor oil would taste like but it also has this super odd tangy taste. I bet if I put it in my cars engine it’d run for a few months...
