Absolutely terrible experience with the Walgreens pharmacy. They called to clarify a prescription from a provider at my clinic's office. The pharmacy technician staff member who answered (didnât give his name & didnât even know the storeâs address when I asked) told me that the script was not at all what they need and began to raise his voice, saying that we are unable to write a proper script. When I politely asked for clearer communication to resolve exactly what the issue was, he yelled at me. I asked him to speak respectfully and not use the tone that he did with me. He went on to responded with, âItâs not my fault your doctor doesnât know how to write a script.â I explained that it wasnât either of our faults and that there was no reason to be hostile â he hung up on me mid-sentence.
We then called back twice to try and get the prescription issue resolved, and both times were left on hold for over 30 minutes with no answer. This is some of the worst customer service Iâve ever encountered â completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior to our healthcare providers here at our clinic. Not sure if this is just a bad case of the Monday's or if this technician has serious work to do in the customer service department.    Read moreThe pharmacy manager hung up on me twice tonight after I was on hold for 19 minutes and then 11 minutes. The first time he hung up on me because it took me 2 to 3 seconds to grab my phone. The second time my smoke detector just went off and he said he couldnât hear me. I said, âHold onâ and walked into another room where the alarm could not be heard. It took me 3 seconds. As soon as I got to the other room, where it was quiet, he said, âI cannot hear youâ and hung up on me. By the time I got through, it was too late to have my prescription filled tonight. When I told him that he hung on me, he keep saying, âI couldnât hear you. Your smoke alarm was going off.â I tried to tell him that it only took me seconds to walk into another room but he kept repeating, âI couldnât hear you. Your smoke alarm was going off.â No matter how stressed they may be because they are backed up with orders to be filled and short staffed, there is no excuse to quickly hang up on a caller who has been on hold for who knows how long because it takes a whole 3 seconds to be heard. I see this store already has a very low rating. I have been going to this particular Walgreens for years. The rest of the store staff has always been pleasant, patient and professional.    Read moreNever do canvas prints or any photo prints that you need by a specific date unless you by weeks in advance or months in advance. They don't provide orders when they're due for pick up, especially canvas prints. Ordered one for a grandmother and it was the only thing she asked for for Christmas and pick up was December 23 11:00 AM and here I am at 6 pm told by Delilah that it won't be in until "MAYBE" next Tuesday. She didn't even notify customers with sitting orders in her system of the delay. All she offered was "I'm sorry" and excused their warehouse doesn't ship them stuff yet I can go to every other Walgreens in the valley and get orders ON TIME.
