I never leave negative reviews. I am now because the more I think about the service, the more irritated I get.
1st Issue: Waitress was unhelpful. Example: My kid asked for a chicken quesadilla. The waitress asked "Chicken Asado or chicken?" My kid had no idea what she was asking, and the waitress repeated her question. My kid was like, "Mom?". Waitress repeated for a third time. I asked her, "What's the difference?" To which she finally replied, "Asado is shredded." Next, three ppl in our party ordered margaritas. One person clarified she wanted a frozen one. The waitress then said, "You ordered a Classic. That's not a Classic. The frozen is a Lunarita".
It was irritating that instead of being helpful, she was condescending, going out of her way to let us know we were ordering incorrectly. Good grief.
Then came the real issue. We ordered fajitas. Excuse me, "paradillas" as the waitress corrected us. It arrived in this platter thing. No one warned us the gas can was there, still burning. My husband ended up reaching for the tongs that were left on the rim and burned his fingers.
I saw a lady who I thought was the manager and waved her over. I told her I wanted to share a suggestion to keep customers safe: When they set the platter down, they should let the table know that the platter doesn't have a protective border (like most places that serve sizzling fajitas on a platter have a wooden or silicone rim around the hot metal) and will continue to be searing hot. Also, perhaps a cheap metal tong that can transfer heat isn't the best choice from a safety perspective. Not once did the lady ask if my husband was ok. She just said, "Ok. OK. OK. I'll let the manager know."
A few minutes later, he did come by. Said in the 1.5 years he's worked there, no one has had an incident. I repeated my suggestions. He never asked if my husband was ok, but instead he had a vibe of you're the idiots for not knowing it is hot. Then he finally sarcastically asked my husband if he was ok, and before my husband could answer, he said, "Do you need me to call an ambulance??!!". We were all taken aback by the rudeness and insincerity displayed by the manager.
Overall, the food was good enough, but the experience was beyond disappointing and obnoxious.
ABSOLUTELY NOT Michelin worthy...

For our table we started with the Ceviche. We followed that up with a Steak Salad , Salmon Tacos a 1/4lb plate of Parrilladas and Yellowtail Jalapeno Crudo. Amazing preparation and top notch presentation definitley left us craving for more. Just the right amount of meat, sauce and the garnishing of the dishes made it for an awesome eating experience. The portion sizes are definitely generous, and the prices are reasonable, considering the upscale dining experience you receive.
Amazing ambiance and service , outstanding food definitely sum up our exceptional dining experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a memorable meal, Luna Kitchen exceeds expectations.

Read moreThe server (Sergio) that we had was really rude, rolling his eyes every time we would ask for more chips or asking information about salad or any. Any kind of item that we were asking for, he was rolling up his eyes during the whole time he was taking our order. And then after we ordered and he realized that we were ordering cheaper than his other tables, he decided not to give us any kind of attention after that, he was literally coming back and making sure all his other tables were perfectly fine. But he never followed up on us at all.Even after the food came out My food could have been cold but he would never know. He couldn't even be bothered to get us a refill of water. So yeah he really's a sub par server. We were celebrating my aunt's birthday and I literally had to go find somebody to go tell him that it was the birthday. And then, when the cake or whatever it was came out, he just rudely dropped it off. Didn't say Happy Birthday or anything and just walked away. In fact, if I could give him a 0 or even a negative star.I would really rude.I wouldn't suggest to give his service to an enemy. That's how rude he was. The cake was like a stale biscuit with unflavored whip cream on it. I don't know, This was literally my first time dining here, and if I was to base it on this experience.I would never go there again. As for the atmosphere, it is really dark in there. I had to pull out my flashlight from my phone to read the menu. The food was okay.I mean, considering how much everything was.I was expecting some better tasting enchiladas and stuff, but it was OK. Maybe I was put off by my server to truly enjoy the food.I don't know. I'll give it one more shot to see if anything is better, but based on this experience. Definitely think twice...
