Luna Mexican Kitchen located in Campbell is an absolute gem that should definitely be paid a visit when one is craving some good quality Mexican food or even if you happen to be food enthusiast seeking a delightful culinary experience. We were a group of 4 and were told to wait at the entrance till all got together, before being assigned a table. Right after, a short walk from the entrance , past a couple of steps and we were at our table. The moment you step into Luna Kitchen, you're greeted by an inviting and stylish atmosphere. The contemporary interior, with its warm lighting and tasteful decor, strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. The service at Luna Kitchen is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience, from offering recommendations to promptly attending to our needs. Their genuine hospitality added a personal touch to the meal. Jose , our server was top notch and made our experience so much fun. For our table we started with the Ceviche. We followed that up with a Steak Salad , Salmon Tacos a 1/4lb plate of Parrilladas and Yellowtail Jalapeno Crudo. Amazing preparation and top notch presentation definitley left us craving for more. Just the right amount of meat, sauce and the garnishing of the dishes made it for an awesome eating experience. The portion sizes are definitely generous, and the prices are reasonable, considering the upscale dining experience you receive. Amazing ambiance and service , outstanding food definitely sum up our exceptional dining experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a memorable meal, Luna Kitchen exceeds expectations. Highly recommended for food lovers and those seeking a top-tier dining experience in Campbell! Cheers and soon!!

LUNA is a cute spot to hang out for nice dinner and drinks with friends and families! It's conveniently located in the center courtyard, facing the main stage and slightly across from the famous Trudy bridal store. LUNA has spacious and cutely decorated outdoor seating areas as well as indoor seating. For the month of October, it's decorated with traditional Dia de los Muerto aka Day of the Dead holiday decorations. My friend and I arrived on a busy Wednesday night around 6pm, peak time for dinner. We didn't have reservations as we decided last minutes to grab dinner and drinks before our next yoga class at CorePower Yoga upstairs. We checked in at the receptionist booth and were advised to grab for whichever available seats at the bar. Lucky for us, there were 2 available seats. As soon as we sat down, the bartender presented the drink and dinner menus for us. We ordered Lychee Azul and Prickly Pear Hibiscus Lunaritas for drinks. For food, we opted for the comforting Caldo de Pollo (chicken soup) and Baja Fish tacos plus Ceviche de Cameron. Our food and drinks came out promptly within 10-12 minutes. The Caldo de Pollo was tasty, flavorful and comforting. I've eaten Caldo de Pollo in Lima (Peru) before and LUNA's version of Caldo de Pollo can hold a candle to the authentic Peru version. My friend's tacos were equally delicious. We both enjoyed the freshness of the ceviche. We were not impressed with our drinks though at the beginning but they grew on us. Combined with delicious food, good company and the nice ambience of outdoor seating on a perfect Fall night, the drinks worked its magic on us eventually. We will definitely come back to LUNA to try out more dishes and drinks here. Come try and maybe we may bum into one another sometimes ;)

I ate lunch at the Alameda location last time and had ordered an entree that tasted bland to me and had indicated my regret at not ordering the enchilada suizas on my Yelp Review. I was beyond impressed when not only did the management contact me but insisted I accept a gift card so I could have the enchiladas I wished I had. I even tried to protest that there was nothing technically wrong with the meal, it was what I had ordered, it was fresh and well prepared and I ate it with no complaints. But they kept insisting that I should have a meal I enjoyed so I accepted. Today I was at the Pruneyard and saw Luna's. I wasn't sure if the same gift card would be used at this location but it was so my husband and I went to lunch and I ordered my long-awaited enchiladas suizas and he ordered the chile verde. Everything about this visit was top-notch. The service, the atmosphere, the special touches like the colorful glass and flowers on the tables as well as the complementary and delicious homemade chips and salsas. Our entrees were equally lovely. The enchiladas come in two sizes so you can get one or two, depending on how hungry you are. The chile verde entree is bigger than the larger enchilada size so that is for an even bigger appetite. Both had a similar flavor profile of tangy tomatillos and served with rice and beans. All of the flavors on the plate were both individually delicious and worked very well together. Definitely will be back for those enchiladas when I am looking for a good lunch and experience!

Still favorite restaurant in the area, but I felt Luna took a potentially an interesting turn (more below) or it may have just been our server that evening as he wasn't that friendly (redacted to keep anonymous). 3 things: 1) We have the service charge already added to the bill (which is 100% fine as we had a party of 8), but if you do not look at the bill and the server doesn't tell you, then they will give you the little pay device The pay device will ONLY show you the total, and it will add the suggested tip in potentially 1-2 sections. Even the actual bill has suggested tip at the bottom of the bill. I find that providing a paper bill then providing a pay machine that doesn’t show you already tipped is much more sketchy than the next thing, but the next thing is just as important IMO. 2) Our server didn't mention that tip was already added, but I'd imagine they are trained to say it, but he was not the friendliest server, so I'd imagine he may not be following protocol. 3) If you look at our bill attached, you will see that they added a 3.5% living way charge as a line item in our bill. I am fine with this charge, but its interesting that it's a line item and not under the taxes section. Essentially, when you calculate everything together you can see that you are actually paying a tip on that living wage charge. It's not much obviously, but doesn't feel good to me. Will I go back? Yes, but it will make me hesitate next time, which I don't want to have.
