Overpriced and overstuffed:
I am one who understands the markup which occurs with shops in tourist locations. Thank you Capitalism. Ter Har’s appears to take that markup and run with it an appreciable amount. Compared to most other shops along the main drag in Downtown Cannon Beach, it definitely sticks out for its prices but not in a good way.
The store itself is also very busy in the sense that there is little rhyme or reason to how the merchandise is arranged. Perhaps it is my small brain failing to grasp a higher plane of thinking. Regardless it’s easy to get quickly overwhelmed by how much stuff is there.

I walked in and asked if we could use a changing room for my wife. It was a bit of an emergency and we couldn't find a place. I assumed I was going to be turned away but without hesitation my wife was able to use a room. The women who run this store are awesome I'm sorry for not getting names but i would HIGHLY recommend this store plus we purchased 2 shirts / baby outfit and a sticker !! Tried to return them just minutes after purchase, but the owner refused. I had the receipt and tags in hand. And no where in the store was any sign that returns were not accepted.
