I have never have given a review before but after tonight’s experience I was going to make sure I did. I have eaten at a Olive Garden dozens of times but tonight is the last straw. Since the pandemic my wife and I frequently order take out. I would say in the last 60 days we ordered at Olive Garden 7 or 8 times now. I odon’t know if that’s a lot but really that shouldn’t matter. We got about a 50% success ratio on what we ordered.
I always order extra sauce on our on our pastas but more times than not it still comes with minimal sauce. The last time before tonight I ordered and PAID for extra Alfredo. Needless to say that didn’t happen. When I ordered tonight I ordered again with extra sauce. I was informed that it would be an extra cost which I replied about the last time I ordered it I didn’t receive it. I was promptly informed that that can’t be confirmed in not the most courtesy way. Was I mad, no but it did kind of aggravate me because I’m not a liar but I kind of felt that way. No big deal, I chalked it up to him being young. He asked if I was willing to tip which I replied no. When I picked up my order the young girl who brought out the order asked if I wanted to leave a tip. She was nice and I had a change of heart and gave a modest tip. I explained to her why I wasn’t willing to tip at first and she replied that the next time that happens I should call back in and lodge a complaint. Alright, no big deal once again.
When I got home, 4+ miles away, to my amazement there was NO sauce and a little 2 ounce soufflé cup of sauce. Now I’m not aggravated anymore, I’m outright frustrated. I called back like I was informed and got the same delivery girl. I explained the situation and she put me on hold while she got the manager. This is why I’m writing this review. The “manager” Charlie gets on the phone and when I explained what happened she not only said that they always have sauce on the lasagna but said it 3 TIMES when I described the way it came. The more that I insisted that that is not the case the more she dug in on her stance! I couldn’t believe it! She gave an abrupt apology and said that I could bring it back in so she can see it. Wow! Is that what Olive Garden considers a manager and customer service??!!! I said that I’m not driving back there and her response was that they don’t do that to which I responded that neither do I because I’m not a driver. Her attitude is why I’m writing this “review”. I work at a very large local car dealership and we order there quite frequently and mostly do to me. I can promise 2 things, first I’ll NEVER order ANYTHING from Olive Garden’s Pine Island Road location in Cape Coral. Secondly I will go out of my way to make sure that nobody from my dealership ever orders there as well. Hey Olive Garden, we have a Carribba’s that’s actually closer to us. Take a wild guess on where we are going to order when we want Italian food? Count on it, you didn’t lose a good customer but instead you made a better enemy. What a joke that place is! Btw, tell your “manager Charlie that I told her that I was going to make sure that she got her deserved “credit” just like I told her I would. If it wasn’t for her I would of never of taken the time to write such a lengthy complaint, that’s how much she...

Read moreMy wife and I recently visited the Olive Garden at 1910 NE Pine Island Rd, Cape Coral, and we had a delightful dining experience that lived up to the restaurant’s reputation for consistent quality and comfort.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we were seated quickly and checking in with us throughout the meal without being intrusive. The overall atmosphere was cozy, with a pleasant balance between casual dining and an upscale feel.
As for the food, Olive Garden is known for its generous portions and hearty Italian-American dishes, and this location did not disappoint. We started with their famous unlimited salad and breadsticks—a staple that never fails. The salad was fresh, well-dressed, and served in ample quantity, while the breadsticks were warm, buttery, and perfectly seasoned.
For the main course, I had the Chicken Alfredo, which was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The chicken was tender, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. My wife opted for the Tour of Italy, which is a great choice if you want a little taste of everything. The lasagna, fettuccine alfredo, and chicken parmigiana on her plate were all perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, providing a nice variety.
Despite the generous portions, we couldn’t resist trying dessert. We shared a piece of the Tiramisu, which was light, creamy, and the perfect way to end our meal.
One of the things that always stands out about Olive Garden is the consistency—you know you're getting quality food and great service at an affordable price, and this location is no exception. The entire experience was smooth and enjoyable, from start to finish.
If you’re in Cape Coral and looking for a satisfying Italian meal with a welcoming atmosphere, Olive Garden at 1910 NE Pine Island Rd is a solid choice. Whether it’s a casual lunch or a special dinner, they deliver on their promise of comfort food and good service. We’ll...
