Five Guys — Restaurant in Cape Coral

Ordered five guys for dinner on Thursday. When I got home, one of the orders was missing. Had to call the store and spoke with Skyler who informed me that it was his fault and that he would place a note in the office so I could get my meal the next time I come to five guys at a reasonable time. Four days later, I show up to place an order at five guys and after having to go through a cash register person, apparently another manager, Vanessa, finally was able to speak with Skyler, who was supposed to be handling it? When I tried to proceed with my order, I was informed that I waited too long. So here I have given my money to a business, but never received my item, and then proceeded to be told. I waited too long. Of course I got upset and only placed the order for my family because I refuse to eat at a five guy establishment ever again. Ivan was told by Vanessa who is supposedly another manager that “I guess I should have talked to her” … although the incident had nothing to do with her, and I was under the impression that Skyler was handling everything since that was what we were told. Was then contacted by the general manager Ryan the next day, and he proceeded to inform me that he already got the story from his employees and apologize. My issue is that he had no desire to hear my side of the story until I asked him if I could tell him what happened. The lack of customer service, the rudeness of Skyler, the rudeness of Vanessa, and the general manager, Ryan, who doesn’t seem to care about anything a customer has to say, I will never eat at five guys again. I did receive my refund for the food that was never provided to me at the time...

Five Guys Pine Island Rd. 6-12-24 We had to stop by Five Guys as I was Hungry for a burger and some fresh cut fries. Walked in around 12:15 on a Wednesday and got waited on right away by Ryan. The first thing I noticed was he had a bead guard on, so I knew food sanitation was priority one. The place was clean and neat with bags of potatoes stacked in order. Another cool thing about this place is they have peanuts for you to eat while waiting for your food order. I immediately got me some peanuts to take back to our table. We ordered our burgers, and you can order them just the way you want. Their burgers are fresh ground beef (not frozen). They have two patties and their small burgers have just one. Now for the best thing is their Boardwalk Fries which is French Fries with the skins on and fried in peanut oil (no cholesterol). They even have Cajun style Boardwalk Fries for those of you that like them spicy. We ordered a large as it was three of us eating them. They also have Hot Dogs, Cheese Dog, Bacon Dog, Bacon Cheese Dog, and a Kosher Dog. They have mike shakes on the menu, but I did not try one maybe next time. Our order came out fast. It was hot and everything on this burger tasted fresh and very good. The Fries were amazing and there were plenty of them. This place has good food and great fries. You may pay a little bit more here, but you must remember everything is fresh from the Burgers to the Fries and you can taste the difference. Everyone should try this place. Great service. Does single Patty cheeseburger was out of this world good it was very good. Also this is the first time that I ordered a vanilla shake and they're Shake is, well, would be hard to beat in flavor excellent Shake an excellent Burger! Now to the bad part! I should have known to request no salt on my fries and I was going to ask for crispy not realizing just how soggy they would be. I love french fries but these french fries aren't even french fries. I even like potato cut french fries. These fries were so over salted that no matter how much salt you wiped off there's still another pile to get off before you can eat them. That's probably a week's worth of salt for the human body. They could have probably salted the entire day's worth of the amount of salt that they used on just one small order. And the Soggy part of these fries well holy cow they could have been cooked way longer I don't know. Next time I go I will ask for no salt and extra crispy fries.
