I purchased an item in the store using cash and shortly after leaving the store I decided I no longer wanted the item. So I headed back to the store to return it. Once in the store I spoke with an employee who pointed to a sign that was barely visible from where you paid. The sign read “no returns. Store exchanges only”. I said to the employee that sign was barely visible from the register and that I was not even given a receipt. The employee quickly scurried off stating she was going to get the store owner. Within seconds the owner came wiping around the corner and aggressively pointed to the sign that was posted. I replied stating the sign is barely visible and that I was typically informed of the store policy upon purchase. She took a step closer to me and my niece and in an attacking manner stated she had owned the store for 40 years and that I was looking for an argument. Very rude! While browsing my friend and I had cups with just water and ice and looked around the store for 20 minutes. After my friend made her purchase we went into the connected store to browse further. After looking at socks for 5 minutes the owner of the other portion of the store asks snarkily “where are you from, anyway?” After replying she then rudely comments on how we should not have brought our “drinks” in, mind you there is no signage or warning when we entered the store 30 minutes prior. I was shopping here 1 week ago and I tried on Sundresses. They were all so Beautiful and Soft.😀 I was so overwhelmed by all the dresses I didn't get any and I regret it. My husband was rushing me because he wanted to go eat.Now I'm so upset I didn't. Now I'm trying to look for the ones I wanted and can't find them. Now I know next year to go by myself.
