My experience with Lovesac can only be described as deeply disappointing and frustrating. From the delivery of wrong and excessive parts to the incomplete state of the furniture, coupled with a customer service disaster, this entire ordeal has left me feeling dissatisfied as a customer.
To begin with, Lovesac's delivery mishaps were evident from the start. The wrong parts sent with my order and the presence of too many unnecessary components only added to the confusion and frustration. It's disheartening when a company cannot get even the fundamental aspects of an order correct, leaving customers to deal with unnecessary complications.
While the installation process itself was relatively easy, it is overshadowed by the fact that the furniture remains incomplete. Despite any positive aspects of ease during assembly, it is ultimately futile when the end result is a partially finished product. The incomplete state of the furniture negates any sense of satisfaction or fulfillment that one would expect from a purchase.
Adding insult to injury, my experience with Lovesac's telephone customer service was far from satisfactory. Instead of offering genuine assistance, their response to our situation was described as a "disaster." While it may be a relief that they acknowledge the mishandling, it does little to alleviate the frustration caused by their initial mistakes and the subsequent incomplete furniture.
Although it's worth mentioning that the incomplete furniture does possess an appealing appearance and provides a level of comfort, it does not excuse the overall negative experience. Aesthetics and comfort can only go so far when customers are left with a sense of dissatisfaction due to incomplete orders and poor customer service.
In conclusion, my journey with Lovesac has been riddled with disappointments. Read moreThis has been a terrible experience dealing with Lovesac. The customer service and purchasing process is awful. No one knows what is going on and they don’t seem to care.
We bought a couch and a chair with an ottoman. We go to the store and got a quote and everything seemed fine. My wife goes back the next day to purchase the product and they were basically too busy to help her out. When she did get someone to help, they told us there would be an additional $1,000 to use the fabric we had originally got quoted because the previous person put it in the quote incorrectly. That’s not a small amount of money so we changed fabrics. We felt lied and manipulated, but that was just the start. When we were at the store they told us they didn’t have rolled arms, only the square ones, so we agreed to go with the square ones. When I got home and started looking online, there was definitely an option to buy rolled arms. We called the store immediately and they said they would switch the order when they got time and someone would call us. No one called us! I noticed online that they were shipping us the wrong items so we called the corporate office directly and they said that they would have it all fixed before it shipped out. Yesterday, I get the shipping notification and they shipped all of the wrong stuff.
We immediatly went into the store in person and they said that the order was put in incorrectly and that they originally forgot to add the ottoman so it would be an additional $760 dollars. I told them to hold the shipping as I am tired of being lied to and dealing with incompetent people. The incorrect items are arriving today so now I need to figure out how to ship all of this back to corporate because they messed up. I am going to cancel the entire order and go somewhere that has some knowledgeable people that actually care about the customer. Terrible...
Read moreMy wife and I walked in today expecting to learn a little more about the brand, sit on a few sectionals, and feel the different fabric options before going back home to consider it among other options we were exploring. We were met by a very humble and helpful man named Josh who made our experience incredible tonight. He explained the different options, listened to our needs and wants, then helped us create the sectional we dreamed of. He was patient and not pushy in the slightest making it a very smooth process.
Josh and his coworker informed us of a promotional rate going on at that moment that helped my wife and I make that purchase the day of. After we left we found out we forgot to order the ottoman, so we went back to add it to the order. Josh met us and was able to create a second order for us and even gave us a little extra to compensate for the extra trouble.
To anyone reading this review who is planning on buying a lovesac, you should call or stop in as they often have better deals here than online. Anyone on the fence due to the cost, let me share why we ultimately chose this option:
Lifetime warranty on the frame and construction parts.
Truly modular. Other "modular sectionals" have limits and constraints. Or a seat that is only a corner or only an ottoman. Each lovesac can be connected on all sides and you truly have endless configurations.
Future proof. When we get a new house in 10 years or have a different style, we can purchase additional modules or new fabric!
Machine washable fabric. Everything can be unzipped and washed. Perfect for kids and wine drunk friends.
