Very Upset. And this means a ton since I dine at the patachou locations often.
I placed an online order at 1024 with an estimate of completion at 1050-1055. I arrived at 1056, and the order was not completed. I inquired about the completion time, and no one could give me an answer. I waited until 1120 and requested my money back. No one could figure out how to do that, so a manager was obtained. Up until this point, the staff was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. One of the staff presented my meal at the time of the attempts for reimbursement and inquired if I wanted it. I said, "No, I just want my money back." She then said that it would otherwise go to waste, so I said sure I'd take it. The manager in the process of reimbursement HAD THE AUDACITY to tell me that if I took the food, she would not reimburse me. So I said I did not want it. Then she proceeded to tell me she didn't know how to reimburse my money because of the system or something. So in the end, they did not give me my money back! I am GREATLY disappointed. I eat at Patachou often, and I have never had such bad service. This is unacceptable, especially coming from a manager (she told me she was also the GM). I will never dine at this location again.
The worst part of this experience is that there was no offer for my inconvenience. One of the young ladies offered me a complimentary coffee while I waited, but the fact that the GM expected me to pay after all this time is unreasonable. The fact that she also didn't show her face until I asked for my money back was also unacceptable. She was by far the worst part of this experience.
I just looked at my other review about a bad time with the customer service from Public Greens. I guess customer service is not Patachou's top priority. Their food is great, but I will strongly reconsider dining at any of their other locations at this time.
To the response about my ordering being through Door Dash. Please see the photo attached in reference to the point of contact for concerns. It is the restaurant in which I attempted to pick the food up from. I SPECIFICALLY did not order from door dash because the location is was at, at the time of ordering kept defaulting to a different Patachou. Thus, I ordered through the Cafe Patachou webpage. As such, it is Cafe Patachou's job to figure out reimbursements if it chooses to use Door Dash as a back door app. Despite this, it does not excuse Cafe Patachou's lack of concern for...
Read moreThe food there is amazing along with the mimosas. Like honestly my friends and I truly enjoyed every bite and sip 😊.
The host and hostess was extremely friendly in explaining the menu and flow of the restaurant.
Our server Abigail is what made the 5 star experience turn into a 1 star experience.
We arrived at the restaurant at 1:20/1:30pm 3/20/21 and was informed that it was a 40 min wait ( we didn’t mind at all) so we waited. Roughly 2:10pm is when we received our notification. We basically sat down by 2:20ish ( due to my friend having to change her little one diaper). Upon Abigail coming to our table, one could tell she didn’t want to serve us. She wasn’t interested in trying tell us about any specials of the day or offer suggestions for your amazing drink menu. From there she preceded to inform us that the restaurant was closing soon, like every time( 3times before the food arrived and 3 times after) she came to the table. After we finished eating, she DID asked if we wanted another mimosa. The fact that we did order another one ( in total 2), anyone can see she was extremely frustrated with us . The final most frustrating part was when she to dropped off the check books and told us no rush, but came back in 2 mins and asked for the books and told us again they were closed. My friends and I feeling rushed hurried to finish our second mimosa and left by 3:20pm.
We get the restaurant was closed, but honestly If we knew this is the service we would’ve received. We would’ve happily gone somewhere else. This way we could’ve celebrated my friends engagement without feeling rushed.
Over all again the food, drinks, and host/hostess was amazing. Don’t know if we’ll return but if we do we hope for better service in regards...
Read moreI do not think Google gives an option to add a 2nd review if you visit the spot frequently. Visited Patachou over Valentine’s Day weekend at 1pm. We didn’t have to wait and were seated immediately. The service is still the same - friendly and super personalized. I enjoy the ambience, nice noisy and chic and clean as always. Ordered Açaí bowl - the açaí purée is usually frozen in summers, but I loved that my açaí bowl was perfect with the cold weather. Not too frozen and not too runny. I ordered a croissant on the side - browned to perfection and hit the spot with a delicious side of blueberry jam. The blueberry cobbler drip coffee special of the day had a unique flavor and left me wanting for more. You can never go wrong with Patachou and it’s healthy options- that’s why the 2nd review. Go Patachou! ———————————————————- Hands down my favorite brunch spot in Indiana! I have been going to Patachou for a year now and I don’t know how I missed it! Go to Patachou if you want to enjoy good weather and sit outdoors, savor a good variety of healthy and creative options and most of all to sup a cup of good old black coffee! I love the bakery items at Patachou - must try zucchini chocolate chip bread and the different flavors of black coffee everyday. Try hazelnut, lavender, blueberry - pure oil essence. Sheer goodness! Highly recommend for a girls brunch, brunch date or just solo - its just top...
