I decided to stop by Java House to try this new coffee place and see if it could persuade me to abandon my usual coffee spot. The mall was crowded with Black Friday shoppers, so I had a little trouble finding parking. Eventually I arrived, finding the entrance right next to Patachou. The coffee shop only had one guest and was fairly quiet. I was surprised due to the amount of foot traffic outside. This is also a work studio, where rooms can be rented for use while you drink your coffee. Interesting concept and a seemingly nice facility for that type of service. After reviewing the menu, I chose the hot "Brewski" English toffee coffee. It was quick to order and was ready in just a couple of minutes. The first thing I noticed was that it was almost devoid of any coffee taste at all. Maybe I'm just used to terrible coffee and espresso, but I was expecting something a little bolder. The temperature of the coffee was also a little cooler than expected. This is good and bad, as I could drink it immediately but didn't feel like I was drinking coffee. I didn't care for the add-ins that tried to bring about an English toffee flavor. They weren't very convincing. Maybe next time I'll get a simple black coffee and go from there. Overall, for $6, I wasn't really impressed nor really disappointed. I'd stop by again for the quiet environment and to try a different coffee...

This coffee bar is neatly located next to Cafe Patachou at Clay Terrace. I went on a weekday mid morning and there was no immediate parking near the establishment so I had a little Trek to. The seating is limited from what I was able to see, there were clearly a lot of people there to do a little work on their laptop and that is awesome but they appeared to need a seat for the laptop a seat for their laptop bag a seat for their cell phone which cause there to be very few seats available. I sat at the counter and order just an iced coffee, Ethiopian blend with sugar-free vanilla and a splash of heavy cream. The coffee had a nice smooth taste, very low acidity and just a clean taste overall however it was not as strong as I enjoy my coffee. Before returning I will do some research and find what may better suit my palate. The Establishment could stand to have rules in place with regards to one individual taking up for seats. That's...

Walking in I was instantly greeted with smiling faces from the baristas which was fun! I actually went to this coffee shop to work remote and it had really fast wifi, which is much appreciated for us workaholics (funnily enough they had a drink named for workaholics).

I ordered two drinks while I was there, the first was called hockey wife, it kind of reminded me of the "pink drink" at Starbucks but I thought this one was way better. I didn't know what to get next so I had the baristas walk me through a little bit of the menu, seriously they were SO helpful. I ended up going for a nitro cold brew, never had one before. It was so creamy but without the actual cream! So no calories! I mean, wow! If you go there, I would for sure try the nitro.

There isn't much food, but a few yogurts, but again I was there for work so I was happy. I even ordered in food for lunch which they were cool with! Definitely going to be a...

So pumped to find "Java House" ☕! Cold brew is my first choice and has reached a new level that makes others not even in the same game. It was like the first time drinking a Expresso, so much unexpected, rich flavor it made me slow down and enjoy! Crazy amount of options (for cold brew.. can pick the roast, hot or cold, nitro, tea...oh my). I have something else to try next time. Baristas were helpful and even better were happy to be there. 🧞‍♂️ Wishing for one near me, until then I'll find a way to get back. Big fan. Thanks for the effort to perfecting a fantastic cold brew.

Coffee absolutely sucks. Just started working at the mall. Every time I order on the app, it's never ready when it says it will be. I always add flavors and creams - never tastes or looks like anything is in them. Service sucks. Took them 10 minutes to even realize I ordered a bakery item, then another 10 to warm it. Of course this is after everyone else has placed and received their orders in full. Starbucks is worth the walk, wait and money in comparison to this place. If you want to be reminded of your nasty office break room coffee machine, order from here.
