McCormick Vacation Rentals — Local services in Cedar Key

We stayed at Bikini Bottoms the week of Thanksgiving 2023. Initially it was my spouse and I but we were joined by her parents and brother. This was our 4th Thanksgiving spend on Cedar Key but our first time at this particular home. The home was awesome. It had three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. All of the bedrooms are on the top floor and have walkout balconies. The rear of the house faces a bay with the open Gulf in the distance. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. We could also see and hear the Mullet fish jumping out of the water along with an assortment of birds. The house is next to the Cedar Key airport. You'll be able to hear the small Cesna type planes take off and land, but mostly during the daylight hours. There are only a handful of houses on the road, so traffic is not an issue. The home is well appointed with kitchen items, towels and bedding. Plus all of the kitchen cabinets and drawers, along with the light switches are all labeled. All of the bedrooms have tv's. The home is also pet friendly. I recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a quite, relaxing home in Ceder Key. Also, McCorkmick Management was very responsive with their communication with us. Hopefully this home will be available next...

Had a trip booked for 4-10 April through VRBO. There was no disclosure about the house being on the market for sale. On a whim, we decided to research the house to see if it was for sale, and it was. Emailed McCormick and asked if this was going to be a problem. We were assured it would not be, and they had additional properties in the area they could place us in if the house sold. Got an email today through VRBO saying the house had sold and they had cancelled our reservation. Contacted McCormick and they told us there was no rentals available. Very deceptive advertising not to disclose the potential for the house to sell and not be available.. Also very deceptive to tell us we had nothing to worry about, that they had other properties they could get us in. And, as a side note, get this, the property is still showing as available for rent on VRBO. Guess McCormick doesn't mind inconveniencing another...

**Our stay at Cedar Key Unit 3C on old Mill Road was nothing short of incredible! As someone who has owned rentals across the U.S., I have high standards and am quick to notice the nuances of a property. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the immaculate cleanliness and smell.

The unit was exceptionally well-stocked, with every appliance in perfect working order and up to date! The furniture was incredibly comfortable, and we loved the extensive selection of books across various genres.

**But the absolute highlight? The breathtaking million-dollar view! It’s a rare gem and a rental with real cable TV without the hassle of using our own streaming services and then scrambling to delete our info before checkout. I can confidently say that you will not be disappointed with this unit!🫶🏻 Cindy is accommodating & incredible...
