Already knew what I wanted when I stopped in. The girl at the front who checked me in gave me a promo flyer with pricing, internet speed, and number of channels. It was a good deal. I said, "OK I'll take this to the back and show whoever helps me." She said, "No!" and ripped it out of my hands. Then I asked her why I couldn't keep it and she said, "It's her last copy." I pointed out to her that there are three right here that she just placed behind items on her desk. Her reply was, "You just can't have it and they have more in the back."
After a short wait, my name was finally called and I told them about the promo. The sales rep goes up to the person who checked me in and got the promo flyer from her to point out to me it was expired and they had no such deal close to that. OK - received inaccurate information and bad attitude from the check in person. They're off to a terrible start.
Now this sales rep is doing a sufficient job, considering I knew exactly what I wanted. He then says the plan I want is only available as a two year agreement. I've already spoken to someone over the phone and did my research online- still I was fed inaccurate information. So I left and decided to get my service over the phone and come back to pickup my equipment in store.
Fast forward to picking up my equipment for the exact plan I wanted. The SAME sales rep tells me, "Oh you already got service... And the two year agreement?! You told me earlier you didn't want the agreement." I was completely surprised since I explicitly discussed with the person over the phone whether or not this was a two year agreement. They confirmed it was not. The sales rep in the store even proceeds to turn his monitor to point out a 24 month line claiming it was how my account was set up. Then he starts saying if I don't want the agreement I'd have to drop my internet speed and channel line up. He says if I'm OK with the two year agreement I can keep everything I've already set up on the phone. Then he specifically asks if I'm OK with a two year agreement or if I want the lesser plan without the agreement. I denied BOTH, told him to leave as is, and to just give me my equipment. His last attempt was to say that he's not completing my order and that I'll still need to call Comcast. This was all false (no surprise there).
All of their tactics, lies, and deception was apparent to me. DON'T LISTEN TO THESE LIARS!!! They wanted to change my plan so they could receive commission on a new activation instead and fed me any line of BS they could to confuse me and convince me they were "helping me out."
The fact is that I would have been fine with a two year agreement but not with the way I was treated, which is why I left the store to order service over the phone. The experience I had when I came to simply pick up my equipment was truly despicable! Attempting to steal commission from someone else while lying...
Read moreDallas Henry is an EXTRAORDINARY Sales Consultant!!! He listens well, gives great advice when asked, shows empathy and demonstrates excellent product knowledge. I went in the store to take an initial look at a new phone without the intent to buy that day due to my lack of knowledge and technical capabilities. I feel SO FORTUNATE that Dallas was at the counter and ready and willing to help. Spoiler: Dallas did end up taking my order within a half hour and only after he addressed all of my concerns and educated me with regard to my choices!! I never felt "pushed" and with all I learned in a short period of time, I was totally comfortable moving into the order taking process. I honestly felt that Dallas "cared" about my satisfaction and he wanted me to have the phone that would best meet my needs. Dallas is a true professional - I have been in sales most of my life and I still take my hat off to Dallas as a standout. He helped me the same way I would have helped others ... with a personal connection and never any pressure - with proper education, pressure has no place in the transaction other than driving people away. He gently guided me from beginning to end and the outcome was a 5/5 sales transaction from this buyer's perspective. Thank you Dallas, I know you'll be there for me again when the data transfer takes place and I'll continue recommending that people go see you for a totally positive transaction. Because of Dallas, Xfinity Mobile has my business guaranteed for another two years. I certainly hope "upper management" takes the time to read these reviews... Dallas Henry deserves positive recognition and monetary rewards for being an excellent employee who makes customers feel special!!...
Read moreIn October, I was talked into opening a new xfinity mobile service by a sales rep over the phone when I was making some changes to our existing Comcast cable/internet set up. I was told I would be sent a free phone and the line is unlimited at $18 a month. What was not told to me was that I needed to activate this phone with in 14 days or I would be charged for the phone. We were giving this phone to my daughter for Christmas so there was no need to set this phone up until then. I was also not told that I would be charged per gig once my daughter reached her 1 gig limit. After I received a bill for $172, I went in person to the store on concord pike and dealt with David. I was not in anyway rude or disrespectful to David however he was extremely rude and disrespectful towards me. As I was explaining I was not told nor aware of these issues, he said “yes you were! You were sent a text and when you clicked on it you were aware of these things but we know nobody reads those things anyway” When I again said I did not know or I would have made changes, he says “it’s not up to us to manage your life” I was in complete shock. At some point he is being so obnoxious, loud, and rude, I asked him why he was speaking to me the way he was because I was not being disrespectful towards him. He was yelling so loudly at me that everyone on the store was looking at us. I simply needed to find a solution to this problem but instead I was treated like a dog. When I asked for the manager he again yells across the store that “we are done here” I will be canceling all of my services with Comcast since they are deceitful with their charges and their customer service is the worst I have ever seen...
