They literally laughed at me when I asked if I could use a coupon from a different store, I hadn’t realized it was past expiration date. The sign in the window says they accept competitor coupons so I thought maybe this one would be okay too. Kinda got a lot on my plate and sorry I didn’t see the date but ok, go ahead, loudly point mistakes out in front of other customers, it’ll make ur business skills look great lol. Also the hair cutter seemed very un-interested in doing her job, and my bangs were cut way too short. Anybody who has ever learned to cut hair knows to make bangs too long first and then show in mirror and then go from there as hair can’t magically sprout back out lol. Also if feeling a tangle in hair it’s not really very nice to tug at it without holding the hair around it to lessen the tug. Also if ur customer tries to strike up convo with u during haircut, it might be nice to kinda engage back in that convo, just an FYI. Never again!! Hopefully I can afford to go to somewhere next time where they have some personality, take time with somebody’s hair, and where they don’t obviously...

I understand some haircuts are better/worse than others, but this is the worst experience I've had to where I felt the need to leave my first Google review ever. I came in solely for a bang trim because I wanted a more professional look than just doing it myself and I asked the stylist to cut them to right at my eyebrow level. However, they still proceeded to cut them to over 2-3cm above my eyebrows, which is a substantial difference to anyone who has ever seen bangs. I have had bangs for over a year now, so I have seen various correct methods to trim them through videos and other stylists doing it for me. But this person just took scissors and cut right across -- no angling of the scissors, no texturizing, etc. The worst part was that the comb they used had a dirty, musty smell like they had not cleaned it in a while, so I had to immediately go home and wash my hair to get that smell out.

I still paid and tipped because I really don't like to cause conflict, but I just wanted to leave this...

I went into great clips for the first time with my toddler. He usually goes to a barbershop but they were closed today. The guy who did his hair was super passive aggressive and made it clear he was not happy with cutting a 2 year olds hair. He expected me to hold his head still and for him not to move. And when he did he would be like “well this is the best it’s going to look” “do you want a nice haircut” HES A TWO YEAR OLD HAVE YOU NEVER CUT A CHILDS HAIR?! Was just a very uncomfortable experience and I could tell my child was very uncomfortable too. Also the hair cut was awful. I go to the barbershop and my son moves and they still do a great job and they are kind and patient with him. My toddler isn’t wild he just moves his head to look around....
