This one star review is specifically for the manager (possibly regional manager?) who was at this Starbucks location on Friday, August 29th between the hours of 11 AM and 1 PM.
I unfortunately did not catch his name, but the Starbucks manager was sitting at the only handicap table in the store. He appeared to be conducting interviews as well as meeting with Starbucks employees, interspersed with checking his emails and looking at his phone.
While I understand that it was probably convenient for him to have the larger table (even though he only had a small iPad-sized device), common courtesy would have dictated that he offer up the only handicap table to the customer who came in on crutches.
I was in the store for two hours attempting to get some work done while waiting to pick my friend back up from her chemo treatment at a nearby facility. I had planned to frequent this same location for the same purposes over the next two months whenever I bring my friend to the area for her appointments.
Due to the lack of consideration and common decency by the manager (who should lead by example when representing Starbucks), I will choose a different location to take my business to over the coming months.
To the manager / regional manager: In the future, please have some situational awareness and compassion towards customers with mobility issues. If I were interviewing with you that day, your lack of consideration would weigh in on my decision about whether or not I wanted to accept a position at that location. Your team looks to you to be the example of what's acceptable and appropriate at the store....
Read moreIm sorry, I dont write bad reviews but the cashier for the drive thru on July 2nd at around 2:30pm was so rude. He had so much attitude and was just plain mean. I ordered online and and drove over and I guess cause my internet it might not have gone through when I placed it, but I went to pick it up and he says "I dont see you" (my name wasn't on the system) and I looked and the order didnt place till I opened my phone again, I apologized, it was my mistake but he said "yea, so usually, we'd like you to wait 5 minutes before placing an order through the app" in such a snarky and rude tone. Anyways, i ask if I should come back and he says "no..." I just go to the window cause he just wasn't being clear on what he meant by that, a girl gives me my order after a minute or so and while shes handing me my order, I see the guy rolling his eyes at me and then laughing with his co worker. I could let it slide and not care if it was a 16 year old working but he looked around his early 20's and honestly I would just expect better service, especially from an adult. I WAS SO NICE, smiling and apologizing for the extra work and thanked the girl when I left. Im 20 and would never think to treat any guest with anything other then...
Read moreI stop at this Starbucks if not everyday then every OTHER day. I use the mobile app to order ahead of time before coming into work and will pick it up on the way. The morning workers are always polite and awesome. However, I couldn’t make it in this morning before work so I decided to order this afternoon. The mobile app wasn’t letting me do an online order (which was fine) so I went in to order my 2 drinks inside and when I got up to the counter the lady taking my order name “Baylee” was on her cell phone. When I told her what I wanted to order I asked her to add extra sugar to my drink, with attitude she told me “are you sure you want to add 3 packets of sugar?” I said yes she then said “it already comes sweet” I then said yes I know, This is what I always order. I don’t need to keep getting asked if I’m sure. She finally tells me the total and when I show her my barcode she then says with some more attitude “scan it” let me remind you I don’t usually come inside to order so I don’t know exactly how it works. Giving 3 stars only because the customer service this time...
