Not Pam. Her husband Bobby here.
I would like to commend several of the staff at this Ray Rd Home Depot store #0476 for their courtesy, kindness, honesty and integrity. Last Monday I was in the garden area looking for some deodorized manure amendments for my garden. I did not find what I was looking for, so I went to another Home Depot store. They did not have it either, so I settled for regular manure. When I went to pay for it, I realized that I no longer had the $100 Home Depot gift card that I had intended to use. After looking all around the garden area of that store to no avail, I just paid with cash. Then I went back to the Ray Road Home Depot on the off chance that I might have lost the gift card there. Matt at the cashier stand in the garden area remembered me from earlier in the day and said that another garden area associate named Ray had found the card and that it should be at the customer service counter. Nobody at the customer service counter could find the card, and Ray had already left for the day after finishing his shift. I went back the next day (Tuesday) and spoke to a very nice lady at the customer service desk who said her name was Miss Jordan. Miss Jordan got ahold of the store manager who she called Liz. I believe her name is probably Elizabeth, but I am not sure about that. Anyway, Liz did find the gift card in the back office safe storage area and returned it to me. I never met Ray (who found the card and turned it into management) but I have the highest regards for him and his honesty. Additionally, I cannot say enough about how kind, caring and cordial Matt, Liz and Miss Jordan were to me during this initially very worrisome experience. ...

May 24th my wife and I went in and purchased an LG Washer and Dryer with pedestals. We were promised delivery of the washer on June 1 and the dryer on June 3.
According to the delivery company they use, the washer was never delivered to them, and when they showed up with the dryer, it was severely dented so we refused it.
We complained to Home Depot, who said they would have the delivery company do a dock search and that I would be contacted Sunday or Monday; never happened. I called the delivery company and was told, again, that the washer never arrived. They transferred me to a number they claimed was LG, and 10 seconds later the call disconnected.
I called Home Depot and told them what was going on, they put me on hold after telling me they were calling LG, and after fifteen minutes on hold the call disconnected.
I called Lowe's and was told they could get me the washer in three days because it's in their warehouse. Now get this: We were then told Lowe's can't even get the dryer before mid-july because they are on heavy backorder so why would Home Depot make a promise they could deliver the dryer by the 3rd? The unit delivered was likely a floor model and we were lied to.
The worst is yet to come: We returned to Home Depot for a refund and were refunded a whopping $100 of the original $2,700 with a promise we'll get the rest when the washer which was never ordered is returned to LG, same with the replacement dryer which is backordered anyway.
This is extreme fraud. Home Depot has 30 days to refund the rest and then it's small claims court. No more lies and...
Read moreBought a milwaukee power tool set with 3 year extended warranty and from the second I got in the store was being told they don't warranty past 90 days and pushed out the door. I was told I had to contact milwaukee which is not even who the warranty was purchased through. Then I tried to come back in to a different line and the same rude employee came back to continue arguing with me with her pushy rude attitude. I then asked for a store manager that came down and seemed helpful at first until I was told I could return the items for store credit and just lose the warranty I purchased. I said so what im just out the 75 bucks for this warranty I paid for and they said "that's all they could do, and that they were actually doing me a solid ". I would love to know how giving me store credit and losing 75 bucks along with the two years left of warranty on my tools is doing me any type of solid. Then the manager decided to catch an attitude also and threw my license back at me. So now I apparently need to contact allstate to deal with them on a warranty which I believed was handled through home depot... which wouldn't have been that big of a deal had it been handled in a professional or respectful manner instead of such ridiculous treatment, especially after ive dropped close to $2000 dollars in tools with them in the...
