FRAUD! Along with my husband I consigned a Trumeau mirror over 6 years ago. We are both senior citizens and the shop made it easy as they came to pick up the item. The shop sold the item and never contacted us - then ignored us for over a month once we noticed. Finally after my husband filed a complaint with the BBB we were sent half of what we were owed. My husband and I went to Charleston on our honeymoon and decided to browse this antique shop while we waiting for our lunch reservations. The owner was incredibly rude. All he did was talk politics with another woman in the store and then proceeded to follow my husband and I around, basically mocking everything we said while admiring the pieces. Overstuffed, vastly overpriced ($45,000 sconces? Gonna need to see some papers for that one.), and bizarrely open about their politics, which apparently include memes about the President’s speech impediment posted in direct view of customers.
