I emailed them to reserve a booth for my bestfriend's birthday celebration. They emailed me back promptly the next day and said all VIP booths were reserved but they had tables that would seat a party of 4 comfortably. So I read the contract and paid the deposit. The night of, I received a text from the club telling me to notify them that I was there and they would text me back to let me know my table was ready. I texted them once I got there and waited, no response. I waited a while longer as we watched both lines( regular entry & VIP/RSVP Line) get longer and still no text. I text back to again receive no response. The rest of our party came to the club and we talked to them for about 30 minutes in the parking lot, still no response. So I decided we'd just walk to the front and I'd talk to a bouncer. I tell him who I am, I have a reserved table and show him my text from the club and my response. He assures me that if I'm actually on the list I'd get in. He asked the bouncer in charge of the VIP Line and he checks his phone for my reservation and it's there. But it told him that we were already seated. I said clearly I'm not because here's my NC ID and you've seen the text the club sent me. They reassure me again that we will get in. After waiting about 20 more minutes a hostess comes out apologizing to me because they seated someone else, that they knew personally, at my table. She walks us to the table and they were still there. She told them they had to leave it was someones table. Nobody cleaned it off and she had to search for 2 more chairs for the rest of my party. I was very irritated because why would you seat someone at my table that was clearly not me when I notified you I was there? I paid a deposit and then we spent over $300 on drinks and food. The atmosphere was on point, definitely dope and after all the confusion we had a good time. But I was very disappointed that they would give a table I paid for to someone else when I followed their instructions and was clearly there waiting for them to follow through with what they said they would do. That was bad business. We did enjoy the drinks and I especially liked the crab fries. They just need to do better with how they handle their text and definitely don't seat their friends at tables...
Read moreI came out of town for a friend's get together held here. Drink prices are ridiculously high for the amount of actual drink you are getting. I ordered 2 cosmopolitans and a screwdriver and the drinks were 50 bucks. That's over 15 bucks for 3 drinks in a 4 oz cup. The cosmos were not even full cups. The screwdriver was full of ice with little to no OJ. It wasn't even orange in color. The cosmos were pale pink and lack the orange vodka taste so they were a bit on the bitter side instead of the sweet fruity flavor. Not well made at all. I also ordered the Philly cheese steak egg rolls. They were the size of spring rolls cut in half with a sweet ranch sauce. The seasoned fries I ordered were lacking salt but had a good crunch. Over all I paid 75 bucks for everything. The place definitely overcharges. I advise to not start a tab you may be over 200 before you know it. Also the scene is very 21 and up. They played nothing but trap music. Everyone stayed making TikToks or taking pictures of themselves. No dancing or socializing. Needless to say it was not my vibe. However security was very nice and dedicated to making sure the environment stayed safe. And with the stories you hear nowadays you can never be too safe. So that I appreciated. Besides the overpriced drinks there were many bartenders to take your drinks and they were very pleasant. The birthday celebration/spotlight thing was very annoying. They blew a whistle several times throughout performance, if you can even call jumping up and down with a sign that said happy birthday, it reminded me of nails on a chalkboard. Temperature outside was 86 degrees and inside was maybe 90 and it wasn't very occupied. Everyone was sweating. I was very uncomfortable. There is no sitting room every booth or table is a charge. So you had to stand to eat and sip. They did have hookahs and an additional smoking area outside if it was needed. I was there for about an hour before I decided to leave. Mind you I had driven from Greensboro. But I showed up for my friend because that's what was important. But I personally would...
