I always take a peak at the drive thru at a restaurant before committing to use the drive thru so I don't get stuck in a long wait. Jack in the Box had 1 car in the window and 1 at the menu, so I decided to go ahead and use the drive thru. I was in a hurry and couldn't afford to get stuck. That was a mistake. It was over a 25 minute wait stuck in the drive thru with no possible escape because of a car behind me and the drive thru lane is made in such a way that you can't pull out. When I pulled in there was one truck at the menu. It was a 10+ minute wait for them to take his order. I could hear that he orders 2 combos. I did get my order taken promptly after his. When I pulled around he was the only car in front of me and at the drive thru window. Obviously, they only take one order once the car at the window is dispatched. From that point it was another 15 minute wait. I was so mad and just wanted to leave. Once I got to the window I saw a lot of employees. So they were not short staffed. They we all just chilling and chatting, no one was really doing anything. I assumed they were short some food like fries or something and I would get hot food. Wrong!!! The fries were old. I ordered a sourdough bread hamburger that has so much oil/butter on the bread it was not very edible. It was soaking. Note to Jack N the Box. You designed your drive thru so I couldn't leave and held me prisoner. You lost an customer because I will never ever go to a Jack N the Box and get stuck...
Read moreI had one of the worst experiences on November 6, 2021. I ordered my food and pulled up to the window it took about 15 minutes to even get there. Paid for my food and the worker at the window said everything was in the bag but I decided to pull up and check it, that is when I noticed they had left out a whole meal of chicken strips and fries so I pulled back through the window took another 15 minutes to get even get up there. The male at the window asked for my receipt which I had told him they never gave me a receipt to begin with and it took another 10 minutes to get the missing food and then I headed home. Once I got home I checked the bag and noticed that they forgot 2 tacos as well. I also noticed all of the fry containers were filled a quarter of the way and when they asked me if I needed sauce at the window I just asked for ketchup. There was about 100 packets of ketchup in the bag most of which were open so it caused a huge mess, the tacos were covered in hot sauce and not edible , the chicken sandwiches were drowned in melted cheese and therefore falling apart. I spent over $30 to get food that was inedible and cold. Employees need to be properly trained in how to present food...

Let's fast forward to now 7/6/2016 @1:15am, first I was waiting for approx. 6 minutes to have someone even take my order, which the large SUV behind me got tired of waiting and drove off, when I finally did order the young lady says"Is that all?.. drive around for your total". At 1:28am still waiting behind two cars that have not moved since I finally got my order taken, and a male with short hair was having a full conversation with the car in front of the maroon caravan, just laughing and talking. So the lady in the caravan says hey we have been waiting in the line for over 10 minutes this is ridiculous, the gentleman smiles and says so, and keeps laughing and talking to the individual in the front car. So I yelled out my window, and said hey sir, we have been waiting for a long time, He yells shut the hell up! So I backed my car out of the drive thru and called the restaurant to speak to the manager(Ciara). Never in my life have I experienced this kind of conduct in a drive through. I will never...
