I’ve never had a single bad experience with Verizon. They have never failed to provide good customer service to me. That changed, however, when I visited this “Victra” Authorized Retailer. They clearly have a far lower standard of service than is on par with Verizon’s standards. They took advantage of a 21 year old kid that is neck deep in student loan debt and misrepresented and missold me a phone without fully explaining what it entailed. Upon realizing this, within the same day, mere minutes after I had left the store to go to work, I called several times without an answer. They also had a voicemail box that had not been set up so I was unable to leave a message letting them know I had been misrepresented the product and would like to go an alternate route. I called several times that day, the next day was thanksgiving and they were closed. I then called several times the next day with the same result and then finally got in touch with them the following day. At this point, I had already talked to a VERIZON representative at their customer service line who was very professional and helpful. She informed me that they do not normally ship out the traded-in phones for several days due to issues like this that may arise. Once I got in touch with this Pseudo-Verizon store, they told me tough luck, you’re stuck with this phone. They made no effort, truly, to help me whatsoever. They essentially called me a liar and offered the worst customer service I have ever received, not only at Verizon, but at any store I have ever been to. The associates at this store make no effort to provide a high standard of customer service and operate on their own rules, not Verizon’s rules. The customer service associate at Verizon said if it had been a normal Verizon store, this would have never been an issue and they would definitely accommodate me. Nick helped me set my phone up and was so very pleasant he had talked me into purchasing 2 chargers that I actually returned because they wouldn't work with my daughters phone. I just found my receipt and saw that there was a $19.99 charge and I didn't know what it was for. I called and Nick actually answered. He told me that it was a set up fee for my new phone. I asked what you charged me $19.99 and didn't tell me to turn the phone on? His response was that is for transferring the data? This just irks me when there is a charge that you aren't told about that verizon itself could have walked me through at no cost. I do take some responsibility because I didn't look at it to question it. Never again will I go to this store!!! They are NOT a verizon store they just sell verizon products!!! Go through verizon directly. You will get everything told to you up front and they won't charge you to do things that should just be an automatic!!!
UPDATE!!! I just got my verizon bill and it is stating that YOUR store didn't put notes in stating I returned the Iphone SE so now verizon is charging me $399.00. This is absolute BS on this stores part! I knew this would get screwed up!!! So not only did they charge me $19.99 to set up my phone without telling me this, with something I could have done myself, now they haven't shown that I returned the phone!! This store SUCKS! Get it together! They didn't even refund me the $19.99!

I stopped in a couple of weeks ago to upgrade to a smartphone and so my wife and I could merge our plan. We were in the store for three hours because we had to deal with the store having computer issues, new trainees, and the store severally understaffed. Even though I was purchasing a Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge which is one of the most popular phones out right now they had to order it in because they don't have things in stock so we had to come back in a couple of days later. Finally get our new bill just to find out that they screwed up the billing and now I've been charged for every text I've sent and received (even though I had unlimited before merging account). My old online account was deactivated but I still received a random auto deduction from my bank account from the previous auto pay option I had set up. I assumed with the new merge and my account no longer accessible that I would not be charged. I have no way of shutting this function down and have to hope i don't see another random charge again next month. The account was deactivated when the merged our accounts so I had no control over that.
The entire store experience was a joke. What makes this worse is the store manager is the one that assisted us during most of our time there. He took over because he could see how frustrated we were getting with the incompetent new hire and wanted to take over to "reassure us" and make sure "we had a great customer experience". Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this store location. All they provide here is endless frustration...
