I would just like to express how HAPPY and IMPRESSED I am with Danny’s Meat Market. On Sunday for Valentine’s Day we planned on Grilling steaks so we went to Meijers to get everything and we looked at the Steaks and I was not to impressed with selection so I remembered BOFFS meat Market which is NOW DANNYS MEAT MARKET I call they are open so we go there walk in Staff very courteous asked if needed help I told them yeah I need some steaks so I look They have a great variety of all cuts and great prices. So I ended up get some NY STRIPS at $8.99 per Lbs so when u buy over 3x steaks they give u a $1.50 off so I got 5x GREAT CUT NY STRIPS FOR $27.81 which is absolutely INSANE!!!!! Then comes Sunday it’s a nice 21 degrees out on a nice Michigan Sunday I fire up the Grill and Cook these well marinated steaks literally for maybe 10-12 minutes total for medium rare cook temperature in center 140-150 degrees perfect Grill marks and THEY NOT ONLY TASTED PHENOMENAL THEY LOOKED LIKE STEAKS FROM THE FOOD NETWORK!!!! I was Felt like a Grill master and so that leads me to write this review I HAVE NEVER BOUGHT A BETTER CUT OF STEAK FROM ANY MEAT MARKET IN MY LIFE not even from EASTERN MARKET!!!!!! So HATS OFF TO YOU DANNYS MEAT MARKET I WILL BE A RETURNING CUSTOMER FOR ALONG...

I have given this store several second chances.. now i would never buy any perishable product here.. first time was zucchini purchase that had a new expiration date sticker over the old one.. the zucchini was rotten underneath (it was packaged and wrapped so didnt notice right away) when i removed the top sticker the bottom one expired in 2017.. this was in 2022. Second visit was molded cheese 2 packages available for purchase. I told he kid that was there and he said thanks.. that would have been bad. 3rd time was a deli purchase that didnt last 24 hours before the meat was smelly and slimy. Just so happens im serve safe certified so I know how to care for perishable items.. the deli meat was refrigerated within 25 mins. We live close by. If you notice the sign frequently says 'New Management or Owners' but the same people are there..ALL the same people.. odd with how many times the store has changed management. Im assuming the complaints keep coming in and then business goes down so they put the sign up to trick people into coming in again.. if you value your money and the health of your family, i would use extreme caution if you purchase...
