Gordon Food Service Store — Local services in Chesterfield Township

I've been sleeping on this place. I always associate it with big parties and catering, which they do have some nice stuff for that. But I came in here today for some syrup for snow cones and this place was immaculate. The shelves are all clean and neatly arranged. The staff was pleasant and engaging and I was asked several times if I needed assistance. The cashier, I wish I got her name, she had rainbow hair, was so nice. She caught some rotten strawberries in my container and made sure that I picked a container with strawberries that were nice. They have great meat prices compared to some of the other stores around here. I'm going to have to start coming this way more often for my groceries. Used the curbside service because I am medically unable to wear a mask. The order was short several items I returned to the store and was told to leave because I couldn't wear a mask. I tried to explain to Renee the manager that my order was short and i needed a credit, refund, or my items and was told i would have to come back during their special hours. I left without my money, or my items under threat of calling the police!!! I cant come during their special hours so I got screwed out of about $50. I am definitely contacting their corporate office. I cant believe that crazy lady was going to call the police!!! I still dont have my money...

Happy with my experiences. As a teacher, I am able to get supplies for school not found elsewhere (large quantities of paper bags, burger squares, small plastic containers for mealworm science investigations, etc.). We purchase several food items here throughout the year. This is a great place to shop for parties and get-togethers. We often get the cheese cubes and bags of veggies for veggie trays. The convenience of not having to prep the food is a plus. Staff is always courteous and you can usually find someone quickly if you need help.
