The jewelers here truly give 5-Star service and really provide a memorable experience. They showed a level of attention to detail and put forth the effort on providing a quality product.

My partner and I were in the market to design custom wedding rings and went to 8 different jeweler shops where it seemed like no one was willing to do custom rings and only wanted to offload their current inventory or charge ridiculous high flat rate prices for custom before even discussing what we wanted.

It was by happenstance we were visiting the downtown Chicago area and stumbled down Wabash and found Dream Jewelers and decided to check them out.

We were welcomed into the building location by Melissa and we asked her 4-words. “Do you do custom?” Without any hesitation she said they absolutely can do custom, and then we immediately got down to business. We showed her images of some ideas we were thinking and she worked with us on getting exactly what we wanted.

Weddings can be stressful and finding the perfect ring can be even more stressful. Melissa made it a breeze and truly showed she cared about the quality of the rings designed for us. She made our day when she contacted us informing that both wedding rings were ready.

I needed to add a soldered jump ring to my bracelet to increase the length just a tad bit, Dream Jewelers (DJ) did a great job for me. Highly recommend, friendly staffs, excellent service and pricing.

I initially went to Jewels of Chicago (JC) because of its good Google reviews. A shop named I&M next to JC has even more good reviews, I wanted to try JC first thinking it might be less busy. Both shops use the same technician in the building for the blowtorch job according to the guy at JC. He gave me a much higher price than what I later got at DJ (probably due to a markup from what the technician charges, it's ok, everyone's gotta make a living). But then this technician wasn't even sure he could do the job, what? it's just soldering a jump ring, some basic stuff... That experience is kinda strange.

So I went to DJ across the street and had it done in like 30 min. Among lots of jewelers in that area, these three I named are the few where I saw "jewelry repair" signs out. All jewlers there probably will take repair customers, just different service levels and turnaround...

I took my wife's engagement ring and wedding ring to Dream Jewelers so they could be cleaned and replated to white gold. They took a lot of time inspecting both ring's stones and documenting the inspection before they even would accept the rings to work on them. They even showed me that one of the tiny diamonds in my wife's halo was not a real diamond. I was impressed with their inspection. I got a call from them after 24hrs telling me that the rings were ready for pickup! The rings look like they are brand new and my wife is super happy!
