Absolutely the worst customer service experience of my life. Spent 41 minutes trying to get out of the garage at Erie and Ontario. As an employee of Northwestern university I use Wild Card for employee parking. The fee, up until recently, was $11. Since my last time parking in the garage they increased it to $12. When I came to the ramp and the wild card would not work, I press the button to connect with customer service. The lady responds that I am short a dollar and have to put my car on flashers and walk to the lobby to pay a single dollar. I offer immediately to pay the fee with my credit card, she refuses. In disbelief I walk to the lobby, the security officer on duty, equally shocked, says you can’t do it here and tries to help. I call customer service again, same story, only now I have to get out in the rain and walk to a different lobby where I can add ONE dollar to the wild card. I decide to call the phone number displayed at the lobby. A person even more rude than Timitha (not sure how to spell her name) says I was lying about what I said about wanting to pay. After the phone call, a person shows up to take me over to the lobby where I can add a single dollar, and 41 minutes later go to pick up my daughter from school. I am stunned at disregard and lack of customer service at this place. You would expect them to let me know the fee increased for future reference and...
Read moreI reserved parking through SpotHero from 11:00 AM for 4 hours on Saturday, June 15. When I entered the parking lot, the SpotHero QR code didn’t work, so I just took a parking ticket and parked. Since I made a reservation through the app, I wanted to confirm if it was okay to take a parking ticket and if I could just scan the QR code when leaving. I spoke with a woman in the office through the call assistant. She was extremely rude and just shouted at me to take a parking ticket. It was my first time using self-parking, and I wanted to get help with something I didn’t know. I felt clearly discriminated against, possibly because my English is not fluent. I believe the woman working between 11:00 and 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 15, should not be in a customer service job and should find another job. Because of this female employee, I will never use this...
Read moreThey hire children as security. And the maintenance worker for the garage laid in to me for using a parking voucher I was given that temporarily broke his machine. He then charged me double to leave. I wouldnt park here if I didnt have to.
And if you're there late at night and lose your parking voucher, you're trapped in the garage. Not a joke, call and ask what they would do. Only the manager can handle that procedure and there is no night management.
Seriously,...
