Worst experience ever at Block 37 Francesca’s on State street Chicago. I would hesitate to post a negative review but I just checked other’s reviews and want to echo what other shoppers had experienced at this store. Terrible store manager who was extremely rude for a Sales person job who has absolutely no patience to listen to the store customers while working on return items. She was acting weird when I purchased the items 4 days prior to try them at home but had to return them becoz of sizing issues. They are at least 2 sizes small than what we wanted. She was accusing that the items looks worn when we were not even able to fit due to sizing issues. When I confronted her, she kept on saying and overriding and do not care to understand what the customer is saying. I had to even asked her about who trained her to be a store manager and how many years of experience does she has in sales that she won’t even care to listen to her customers to an extent that she is overriding someone talking with out basic common sense. No decency at all. I even mentioned it to her directly that I am going to talk to her manager to complain on her. The funny thing is, she lost the bill that I handed her and asks me to look for it on the floor and when I said I can’t find it, she looks all over only to find it on her side of the counter and blames me for her actions. Have never seen a sales person more rude than this person. Can’t believe this happened in downtown Chicago where the adjacent big name stores like Banana Republic, Anthropologie and Zara are so respectful to their customers. Please train your staff to be polite or at least make them stop from being rude to people who show up at your shop’s door front. No one deserves to be treated like this by such ill mannered boors and indecent people. Such a shame on...
Read moreI had the worst experience at this store today. The person in charge didn't even try to help me. I had to make a return and had my digital card on the phone (I never carry any cards with me for security reasons), but because she wanted to see the numbers and see the physical card she wouldn't help me at all claiming that the in-store return policy changed two nights before when she had a meeting with her manager. The reason why this change in the policy was nowhere to be found on the Internet for customers ¿?
I tried to call another Francesca's store where they mentioned it was possible to have the return on my digital card with no issues. Still, because this person (Carolina) did not want to help (sadly), she just ignored any instructions from them.
She also made a comment about me not talking to her directly in Spanish, but how would I assume someone speaks Spanish and start talking to them in the language. I don't assume things to be polite and respectful and would be happy to speak in my native language if the person mentions it, of course!
She also mentioned the manager could not help me either because she explained the situation to her by text and she replied saying she did not have time for it and called security. A bit too much for all of this super simple process at other store brands.
Anyway, please go to another store. And Francesca's at Block 37, please do better for your customers. This person claimed she was new when we started the return process and by the end of all this craziness, she said she had been working for 2 years at that store. 🤷🏻♀️ I just rather pay the fee and process the return by UPS than go back to the...
Read moreThis was literally the worst shopping experience I have ever experienced at a Francesca’s location. My daughters and I walked in at 7:40 pm, and were not greeted with “Hello”, we were greeted with “We close in 20 minutes.” Um, ok, so we have 20 minutes to shop, right? My daughter picked out two dresses and 1 skirt to try on and went to the dressing rooms. No one else was in the store. My daughter went into the open dressing room when Kaitlyn called out from the desk (because she did not once leave the desk to help us in anyway), and said the dressing rooms were closed. Again, no one else was in the store and all 3 dressing rooms were open. I asked “why” and she flippantly stated because the store was closing in 15 minutes and they were “understaffed”. Isn’t she getting paid to work until the store closes? When I asked that question she said “Well, I guess she can try it on if it’s just one dress”, so of course there was no store policy that the dressing rooms were closed, she just made that up. At this point, my daughters and I were upset and didn’t even want to give her a sale. I want you to know that Kaitlyn turns away customers while you are paying for her to be there. I will never shop at this location again. It looks like it should close soon anyway since no one is ever in the store anyway, probably due to the poor...
