Please be careful if you’re looking to rent an apartment from Lake Meadows they send you a virtual tour of the apartment that’s similar to the one you’ll be moving into but the one I moved into was not up to par upon moving in the lock didn’t work so I couldn’t lock the door there were ants in the bathroom in the kitchen The baseboards were not painted they were marks on certain areas of the wall the blinds were raggedy ripped and torn and didn’t close the paint was actually peeling off the wall in one area and chipping throughout the apartment in other areas there is a fitness room a lounge and a business center neither one of those do I have access to and they are amenities that came with the apartment and of course I guess because of cOVID-19 the office is close no one is answering phone calls or returning calls or messages I pay for parking permit which was supposed to come within two weeks it took a month to get to me it was supposed to be mailed to me I ended up having to go pick it up it seems like it’s always an issue and their solution is to create some type of excuse as to why the problem is happening instead of just being thorough and making sure that the apartment is an excellent shape. There’s a sign that says no dogs and dogs are constantly in and out of the building on the elevators in the lobby This has been a really bad experience and it doesn’t seem to be getting better so buyer beware because in my opinion they’re pulling the wool over our eyes. And the sad part is I’ve only been here for three months and I’ve had to reach out to maintenance at least six...

Honestly, if this place had a 1 month trial, you’d move out before your Wi-Fi even connected. Move-in day was unforgettable. mostly because I walked into what looked like a scene from a cleaning crew’s unfinished nightmare. Blind rods and window mesh scattered across the floor like they were part of some modern art project. Dirty cleaning cloths? Found them in the fridge. Which, by the way, looked like it was pulled from a garage sale and never cleaned. Windows? So grimy I thought they were frosted on purpose. And let’s not forget the cherry on top the kitchen light doesn’t work and the place looked completely unprepared for a paying tenant. Leasing office? Might as well call NASA same chance of hearing back. And when you finally do reach someone, expect peak rudeness — unless you’re lucky enough to get one of the rare decent staff members. If you’re an Indian student, brace yourself — the attitude shift is real, and it’s not subtle. Bonus moment: I was warned mid-move by a building staff member that I could be fined for using the elevator without a reservation. Sorry, I forgot to schedule my suffering on your Outlook calendar. Also, here’s the kicker: they still haven’t fixed anything, and their Google rating isn’t even 3 stars. You’d think that would be a wake-up call, but nope — they’re somehow proud of running a circus and calling it a community. Save yourself the stress, the fines, and the unwashed...
Read moreThe worst part is that there’s no effort from the staff to improve or make the situation right. It feels like they are just going through the motions without any regard for the experience or satisfaction of their tenants. This is not the kind of service I expected when choosing to live here, and it has made the entire leasing process unnecessarily stressful and frustrating.
Sadly, I don’t believe there’s much hope for improvement at this point. The lack of professionalism and basic decency from the staff is truly beyond repair. I would strongly advise anyone considering this complex to...
