I was perusing the isles of this fine establishment, when I stumbled upon only what could be described as perfection (His name was Jacob I think). A man without flaws or imperfections. The way he so effortlessly maneuvered the isle truly was a sight to behold. He was so insightful to the wants and needs of my shopping endeavor, it could be argued he was clairvoyant. In my time of need he glided in with such grace and class, and greeted me with a nostalgic warmth comparable to a mothers love. His superfluous dedication to his job and deep insight into the location of every item made it so that assisting me was a breeze. I felt welcomed into your store in such a way that I was compelled to purchase all items on my Burlington wishlist. This wonderful human, deserves not only employee of the month, but employee of a lifetime. I walked out of that store an improved man and I will be forever grateful for my decision to shop at burlington located in the chico...

I have always gone to Burlington for birthday present shopping to afford my kid's entire class, as well as going there for most of our clothes shopping. But I don't believe I will ever shop here again. With the recent addition of a guard at the front having to let you in and the carts locking up at the door, it's neither a peaceful nor accessible place to shop. I am disabled and rely on bringing the cart to my car. I cannot just drop my cane and carry things out. Having a security guard treating every single person entering as a criminal makes it feel like I'm in a fascist state checkpoint rather than entering a store I've shopped at many times before. Having to juggle bags with my cane or else bring a friend to help while the security guard wheels away the locked cart was humiliating. My 2 star rating is due to their customer service. I have been in the store 2 times and both times there has been a long line at the registers with only ONE cashier. I was there yesterday (my 2nd time) and customers were frustrated, as well as myself, for the long wait. The cashier called a manger due to an issue and we watched as she slowly made her way to the registers. The manager opened a register and I asked if they would be using more cashiers the closer it gets to Christmas. She said that I had come in at break time and that 2 of the registers were not working. I told her that I had been twice and both times there was only one cashier. Another cashier walked up to take over the register and the manager turned around and walked away.
