Buckle up. My fiancé went in to get his measurements done 4 months in advance for his suit rental and everything went great. They said the suit will get here 2-3 days before the wedding. I call the store a few weeks ago and ask if there’s any way the suit can come in earlier so we can ensure it fits well, and they say no, that it’s standard practice it comes in 2-3 days before the event and that if any changes are needed, there’d still be time to have alternations. Flash forward to today, three days before our event. We go in to the store to try on the suit and it fits AWFUL. The legs are wayyy too long and wide, the waistband was way too big, the jacket arms were way too long, but the waist on the jacket was far too small. The undershirt was also way big. The only thing that fit was the socks. Turns out, the guy who fitted my fiancé had put in his two weeks not long before the fitting, and they admitted he was doing “lazy measurements” and rarely did fittings anyways. We ask if they can get a new suit sent and they said “there’s not time to get a new one sent, and there’s too many alterations needed, we wouldn’t have time to fix it.” Okay? This is why I called weeks ago to see if we could get it early in case it doesn’t fit, and I was reassured it would be fine. So what can we do? We spend a little over two hours trying on other jacket/pants combos and find one that KINDA fits, completely different color though. But at this point we didn’t have any other choice. They say the only option is to bring this combo to the Folsom store and get it altered. We drive to Folsom, the wonderful lady at the front desk goes, “they literally could’ve rush ordered the correct suit and gotten it in by tomorrow or Monday. But no worries, I’m gonna fix this for you. Shame on Chico. They send us all of their mishaps.” She was FANTASTIC. She gave us a whole new suit, super discounted, that we get to keep instead of rent. Returning everything else back to Chico for a full refund. We like this new suit a lot better than the original anyways, but it only took 8 hours out of our day for something that should’ve taken 30 minutes. Also a note, the manager that helped us at Chico was nice enough, but not super helpful. The girl employee had the biggest attitude and didn’t initially seem like she wanted to help us at all until the manager got involved. Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend the Chico location. It’s worth the drive to go to Folsom. They were amazing and professional and apologized on...

When we first went into order we were unable to make any appointment as no one here answers the phone and the recorded message states that you can leave a message but likely no one will return the call as the messages are not monitored. So we went in, please keep in mind that this is two towns away from us to get to and not close by. Upon entry we were told we had to make an appointment and should have called to which I advised the above and we were told that they guessed we could be worked in (even though there was only one other person shopping in the store and several employees available). If that was the only issue I would have been fine. Upon picking up the rental we decided to have my now husband try it on and the pants were 4 inches short, without exaggeration, which is appalling, we then waited to have them re-marked for adjustment and watched as several people were served before us who entered after and did not have appointments but were eventually marked for correction. Again, I could let this go as there was time for the alterations still. I went down to pick it up a few days prior to the wedding, with out my husband this time because he was not available and brought the tux home and loaded it for transportation to the venue (an hour from the closest Men's Warehouse). Wedding day arrives and we are getting ready, a sunset wedding for perfect pictures.. low and behold NO PANTS ARE IN THE BAG. My brother in law had to race to the store to get the pants that were floating around somewhere that nobody put back in a bag. Leave it to say I got no wedding pictures. For a day that was to be my one day that I wanted to pass down memories of to my kids and future generations there is proof that it ever happened because of the laziness, selfishness and unprofessionalism demonstrated by the staff you employ.
