The Peddler's Closet — Local services in Chico

This place is absolutely gorgeous. My best friend and I walked in after her roommate recommended we visit the store. All the products revolve around Boho-chic and self care. The ambiance in itself is healing. I bought my lovely mother a heart shaped candle that I know she’ll absolutely adore. The front of the store had my eyes, but back of the store took my heart. They had many art pieces that would’ve taken my wallet had I let them.

Mosaic wall decor with cemented teacups meant to waterfall down each other; birdcages with bird sculptures that held human faces hostage. As a theatre geek, I absolutely adored the back room. Once reached checkout, the cashier was generous enough to gift us a reusable tote.

I left with the perfect gift to welcome my mother back home from the hospital. Thank you, Peddler’s!

My sister and I went into this beautiful and amazing shop a couple of weeks ago and was cheerfully greeted by owner Leanne Powel. We were having trouble figuring out how to pay for the parking. She was so kind and not only showed us how to, but then kindly paid the fee for us!! We not only enjoyed shopping in her beautiful, creative store but enjoyed refreshing conversation with her. Then after telling her we were looking for a coffee shop she kindly recommended we try Meze Moon...and so we did! What a delightful experience there we had with the owner Emin! This store is amazing!! It's truly a one of a kind place. From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed & taken care of by the wonderful owner of this boutique gift shop. The Peddler's Closet is a perfect place to find gifts or more importantly find clothing & jewelry, or even artwork for yourself. You can easily spend hours in this boutique getting lost in the display cases filled with gems & jewelry, or even just wondering around looking at the overall uniqueness of Leanns shop.
