Indeed this is the review i posted over a year ago. So though i once again had my watches recently serviced and batteries replaced July 2025. I humbly stand by this earlier review.As stated excellent and down to earth customer service. They were even kind and welcoming to my dog. So not just a people friendly environment, but pet friendly and accommodating as well. As stated before and stated again, my previous review humbly remains the same. (PREVIOUS REVIEW) I want to take a moment to say thank you to the staff at this establishment. I have now been there on several occasions for some watch repairs. But even for those services ,the staff was friendly and down to earth. I truly appreciate the fact that even though I wasn't there to purchase anything the staff of Chase, Brooke and Ms Shauna made me feel welcomed. But also i want to add that i appreciate the honesty in how up front Chase was , when it came to a particular watch being repaired and what the cost was for the parts versus the actual labor. Again the upfront honesty gave me a chance to make a informed decision about, whether that watch was worth fixing. Bottom line Chase fixed all the watches that needed repair and gave me an option about the one i said to not fix. You won't be charged for something that is not repaired or done. Something else equally important to share, that though i was there for watch repair services. I also observed the staff of Chase, Brooke and Ms Shauna interaction with their customers. Honestly they treated everyone with respect ,and greeted and welcomed them, the moment they came through their doors. No sales pressure just open friendly service. So again for me ,my watches being repaired, have meaning to me for some have a sentimental value to me, that goes beyond cost. It represents a time or point in my life ,the same as other pieces of jewelry or a keep sake may represent to others. In the end, i appreciate this business and the staff for the great customer service given as well as the friendly conversation and demeanor. Again the staff of Chase, Brooke and Ms Shauna, are what makes this establishment work so well. Like i said, this is and was my humble opinion based on several visits to this business. You know how we were always saying: we wish we had more small business, local business, that was doing good work and that we could all patronize? Well I found a gem here in Ed and Ethel's Fine Jewelry, right next to MedExpress in the Spradlin Farms complex.

My fiance and I went in there not knowing what we would find and discovering friends we remembered from other stores that decided to completely close and leave uptown Christiansburg during covid. But every ring and piece of jewelry that we looked at was gorgeous and exquisitely put together, and the expertise of the staff was stellar.

They decided to start their own jewelry business after their whole family watched the other two stores in the mall closed. Now they're doing great work, doing custom jewelry, adjustments, and Creations of new jewelry as well as stuff they already have in the store right here in Christiansburg it doesn't have to be mailed off to ready to buy, and they can even do repairs right here rather than somewhere perhaps two states away.

We bought a beautiful wedding band with a double halo and emerald cut and another wedding band for myself for our wedding. We can't wait for them to be sized and to wear them after the wedding. We are so happy with Ed and Ethels Fine Jewelry and I recommend you...
