You get what you pay for. It's one of the lower quality dorms at UC, and is home to all the first-years who take the least expensive dorm looking to save money. The communal bathrooms are less than ideal, the heating and cooling system temperature can not be manually controlled(only high, medium, and low), the elevators break too often, and the building hasn't been renovated since the 60's.
