This place surprised me in the best way possible. I was extremely impressed by the service, quality of food, and portion size. When I first looked at the menu, I was little intimidated by all of the options. Luckily, the employee behind the line immediately sensed my hesitation and said, " Don't worry, we'll go through the options together and I'll explain anything you need."
And he did just that. He told me about the different options and walked me through it. The result was a pita wrap with garbanzo beans, couscous, three (wow!) different spreads (tzatziki, traditional hummus, and harissa hummus), along with falafel, tons of toppings (too many to list!), and finally lemon+olive oil and traditional tahini.
I got a water, but next time think I'm going to check out one of their interesting and tasty looking tea options.
I was legitimately blown away by how generous my pita wrap ended up being. There was so much stuff on it, it was more of an open-faced wrap (which I'm not complaining about, as I'd rather get more food over ease of holding).
In the middle of our meal, one of the employees even came over and asked how everything was and whether we liked the recommendations.
I spoke to the (I think it's a franchise?) owner for a few minutes afterwards and he said this location is all run by family, and you can tell. They worked well together to ensure that we had a really satisfying experience and were very friendly.
I wish I had taken pictures, just to show what a beautiful beast of a wrap this was. Regardless, eat here! You...

Read moreI don’t understand all the five stars. The food was good. I would recommend it but not over one of the many small family owned Mediterranean restaurants around Clifton. The falafel‘s were dry and dense the rice and couscous had no seasoning whatsoever. I got the falafel bowl, which was at least healthy and a good price, but got the same dish at Zahar on court street and it was way more flavorful and the falafel was fresh and the right texture. The pita was also Just what you buy frozen. The bread at Al Medina by Kroger is amazing made fresh daily in house in their clay oven like good Naan they’ve probably been in that same location for 20 years and people are acting like we don’t have a good Mediterranean food in the neighborhood
So when I see people give this place five stars I’m assuming they haven’t really had proper Lebanese or super flavorful small family owned Mediterranean food because this place eats like a chain store it’s not bad but it’s more comparable to Aladdin or some other chain store Not someone’s family heritage who spent their whole life...
