So,our(My Wife and I) experience started off kind of rocky our greeter though polite(Tall African American?guy)looked disheveled like not really dressed to be seating people,he brought us two tall glasses of warm water with like 5 cubes in them apiece, I sat it to the side, then asked for more water with ice,we ordered, the food came out good,a really nice presentation, But before we get to dig in, a skinny blonde girl comes in sits at the table next to us and just stares at us,then goes I'm hungry, She was obviously on something, So we chose not to help her, then she sat there for like 2 to 3 minutes before deciding to get up and run out, So finally able to enjoy our meal, We go to pay,i hand the tall gentleman my credit card, And he walks away to process the card I'm looking at him And he's kind of hunched over suspiciously, So I decide to walk up there to the register, And he'd finally put my information into the credit card machine but I notice his phone is on right next to the credit card machine š³š, So I'm like what are you doing with your phone on Why your processing my credit card are you taking a picture of my credit card information front and back, He says oh no I'm betting on the game and I'm following the bets that I made on the game and I said well you shouldn't have your phone on next to the register while you processing the payment How do I know you're not taking pictures of my information and he assures me that he wasn't, he said that he wouldn't do that, But it just made me feel really uncomfortable leaving not knowing if he had actually done that because this is a scam that's being done at a number of restaurants around town, But he apologized several times and agrees that he shouldn't be doing it that I have nothing to worry about he said because he wouldn't do that,it Kind of ruined what was left of our first meal at your establishment feel free to message me If you like. We were there on Sept.29th24,it was at 1:25 pm when he rang us up, Transaction...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHark, fair patrons and gastronomic revelers! I prithee, lend thine ears to my musings upon the splendid establishment known as Drunken Tacos, wherefore mine taste buds embarked upon a most joyous journey!
Upon entering this culinary haven, the ambience did strikeeth me with the warmth of a hearth in midwinter, and the decor, a tapestry of festive hues, did transport mine humble soul to a fiesta of yore. But lo and behold, the true feast awaited me upon the parchment of the menu!
Drunken Tacos, a name as whimsical as Puck's antics in A Midsummer Night's Dream, did regale mine senses with an array of delectable offerings. The tacos, a ballet of flavors pirouetting upon the palate, were a symphony of succulence and spice. Verily, I declareth, each bite transported me to a realm where jesters and minstrels serenade one's taste buds with merriment!
And hark! Let me extol the virtues of the server, the enchanting Jasmine, whose grace and charm did rival Titania's own allure. With a demeanor as winsome as Juliet, she attended to mine every need with a smile that couldst rival the moon's glow. Her recommendations were as wise as the counsel of Friar Laurence, and her service as swift as Pegasus in flight.
Methinks, shouldst thou find thyself in need of mirthful repast, Drunken Tacos and the fair Jasmine shall not disappoint. 'Tis a culinary voyage that doth combine the spirit of revelry with the artistry of gastronomy. Prithee, partake in this banquet and revel in the feast fit for a Shakespearean feast of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wanted margaritas for some random reason and my Yelp search listed this restaurant as an option. We arrived just before midnight and there were just a few tables full. They have the garage doors that open and we were given a nice booth seat by the open door which was nice on this warm night.
It turns out Monday night is margarita night so the last four margaritas on the menu were $4 instead of $6. I ordered the Raspberry Sunburn and my boyfriend got the Cactus Venom (it was $10 but it was a larger drink). Both were good but my boyfriend thought the Cactus Venom wasn't very strong for the two liquors that came in it. I should mention that the Cactus Venom has Grand Marnier, which they were out of so they substituted it with Cointreau. The waiter also said the drink wasn't too hot because they take the seeds out of the jalapeno's but there were definitely seeds floating in the drink.
For the meal I had a pollo taquito and bulgogi taco. The bulgogi taco is Korean BBQ beef cooked with jalapenos the waiter advised. It was extremely good and had a bit of heat. I wasn't a fan of the sauce that comes on the taquito. My boyfriend enjoyed his chicken taco and pollo burrito. I felt the food came out pretty quickly.
The waiter did check on us a few times and he was friendly and informative but I did request limes and straws for our waters a few times. He finally brought some lemons and limes but no straws. The women's bathroom was clean and so was the restaurant. I would definitely come back here for margarita and...
