The popcorn made at Kernel Benny’s is by far the best I have ever had! Whenever my husband and I go to the store or pass a popcorn stand, he says “Don’t bother, it’s not from Kernel Benny’s.” We have purchased popcorn for ourselves, friends, and family events and it is always a hit. The classic kettle corn is addictive and I haven’t tried a specialty flavor that I haven’t loved. The cigar and ale shop on the other side is also pretty amazing. There are some really unique items on display and for sale that I enjoy seeing when we stop in. The craftsmanship of the cigars as well as handmade items for sale make interesting conversation points. The staff is very knowledgeable about all of their products and are some of the friendliest people I know. This place is awesome! We stumbled upon it and am glad we did. They have ice cream, coffee, beer (from Germany as well as numerous independent brewers), kettle corn (made fresh from scratch at the facility), and German clothing. I went nuts (they have those also) with all the products here. The specialty drinks look amazing! We unfortunately didn't sample these because of lunch reservations. If you are into cigars, they have them also. The owners couldn't of made us feel more comfortable than what they did. It is a small place with large decisions to make in regards to what to buy / eat. I go to Frankenmuth often, and this will be a must stop every time we go there. It is so enjoyable and has so many options to try. Go there people, I guarantee you won't be disappointed! This place is so cute and the two gentlemen working there are so kind! My boyfriend and I came for my birthday weekend and stopped into their shop, to look around, they were so friendly and kind to us, that we just started chit chatting, they recommend us places to go and eat. We even came back later that day to stop back by and have a snack! Good drinks here! Their Pretzel bagels are delicious and made fresh! I definitely recommend stopping in here and seeing this shop!
