Willi's Sausage Co — Local services in City of Frankenmuth

We visited Willi’s for the first time in September and we absolutely loved it. It’s set up in a very easy way- nothing was crowded or hard to get to. There were a TON of samples- of which we partook in many. Delicious sausages and brats and frankfurters, oh MY! I was so glad we had the foresight to bring a cooler- we spent so much money at Willi’s they gave us ice for our cooler. That’s great service.

The young man at the counter was very friendly and conversational. We were asked several times if we needed help, and everyone was willing to assist. We will stop at Willi’s every time we’re in Frankenmuth- because we really enjoyed all the food we had. Excellent flavors and quality meats!

Suggestion- the only thing that would make Willi’s better is if you had German Potato Salad for sale. We had to stop at another sausage shop for my potato salad. While this store didn’t even pale in comparison to Willi’s, they did have the potato salad I called all around town for.

Stopped here during our anniversary night in Frankenmuth and tasted the variety of samples offered. The Ukranian sausage was pretty good -- as was the jalepeno/cheddar bratwurst. The jerky didn't really speak to me, but I've never been much of a dried meat kind of guy. Willi's is basically a rectangle meat counter that can be walked around near the Drury Inn. The people were friendly and we picked up some Oktoberfest Sausage on the way out of town. The prices are a bit high, but that's to be expected in Frankenmuth. Apple Pay did not work (tried three times!) so we had to use an actual card... disappointing! A week later we decided to grill those sausages... they were very good! Stopped on way back from my cabin 8 mile detour from I75 but always make the jaunt for a good brat,I was so disappointed my usual brat has shrunk to the size of a anemic hotdog for $5 ! So I called and asked I think you’ve made a mistake and gave me a hot dog instead of my brat, in which she responds,”oh no that’s the brat we don’t have hotdogs in our warmer we have someone learning to stuff” but yet the brats in the refrigerator are still normal size! I just so happen to be driving by KERNS just up the road as I hung up the phone and pulled into the lot and grabbed a fresh bundle of brats (normal size) that’s the last brat from Willis I’ll ever buy...
