The Long Beach LIRR station is a short walk from the Beach.There are Ice Cream Shops, a bagel place and various resturants across the street. There is parking nearby, but be careful you don't park in the parking lot of the shopping center next door to the station. There are signs they ticket cards that don't belong there.
