Sherry Blossom — Restaurant in City of Long Beach

Sherry Blossom has the Best Poke bowls, ramen and bubble tea! We went in on Saturday to have a lunch. We’ve travelled to NYC, CT for good ramen, poke and bubble teas, and we find Sherry Blossom to be the best one! Tuna, salmon and hamachi were so fresh, black rice is on point and the condiments/sauce make it perfect. Pork ramen had smoky flavor from charsu and eggs were cooked perfectly. Also loved homemade soup dumplings. Passion fruit bubble tea with lychee is our favorite drink. Sherry makes this place so special by greeting everyone with smile and provide amazing food. It surely made our weekend very special. We walked around the farmers market across the street (with bubble tea) and everyone at the market raved about Sherry’s. Can’t wait to come back!

Since my review a year ago I went back many times, and food has been just amazing no matter what items I tried. Sherry recently added Pho noodles and it’s a perfect addition to cold season. I never take the time to rate places; this place left such an impression on me that I just had to! The owner greeted us when we walked in and asked had we been there before and we said no so she explained everything on the menu to us. I have a gluten sensitivity and she was so helpful in guiding me through what I could have (which was almost everything!). The food was delicious, she gave us so many sauces on the side, no charge. I got a strawberry bubble tea as well as my poke bowl, and halfway through my meal she comes up to the table with a new bubble tea and says "I'm trying something new, this one is much better, have it" and just gives me a second bubble tea for free! Both the first and second we amazing (but she was right, the second one was better). My husband has no good allergies but strongly dislikes mushrooms and fish, two things typically found in ramen, but they make all the ingredients separate here and combine them with each order. I have been a huge fan of this place for years up until last night. The owner is so sweet and the food is great, though last night while the owner was not around, I was treated so horribly by the employees. After waiting over half an hour to be helped, the girl behind the counter begins to serve me and was so nasty from the start. I asked her politely for Kani in my bowl and she said we are out of that. I took a few moments to pause and think what to have instead, where she proceeded to turn to the other girl working and attempt to whisper about me and to then imitate my face while I was thinking to her. The two of them laughed and continued talking about me literally two feet away from me, and then she threw my bag with the food on the counter without saying anything else, just giving me a nasty look.
