The american falls are absolutely beautiful, if i was reviewing the views and scenery alone i would give it 6 stars. Seeing all the powerful blue water was an amazing experience. I wish i could say that the staff gave me a similar experience but i was dissatisfied with their lack of enthusiasm and respect for COVID-19 protocols. Four separate times my family and I had interactions with staff that were both unprofessional and somewhat rude. We took the trolley around and just wanted to do one loop and take in the scenes. We did not know that you must get off every 2 stops and were rudely spoken to by the staff. I totally understand the rule and wish we knew prior but there’s a right way and a wrong way to speak to patrons. Secondly, the driver of the trolley was not only wearing his mask below his nose, but was frequently adjusting it to fit his upper lip and remain under his nose. There were passengers on board who did not wear masks what so ever and they did not get spoken to for a national mandate but we got spoken to about sitting on the trolley for one loop around. Our third bad experience was with a young blonde woman who was also wearing her mask under her nose and playing of her apple watch while we were trying to talk to her. Her responses were short and blunt and just didn’t satisfy. she took her mask off to speak to us and she even had airpods in and couldn’t hear us when we initially tried to get her attention. Our last bad experience was probably the worst. One of the visitor centers has an elevator which is great because i have an elderly grandfather who does not do well with long walking and stairs. We arrived to locked door at 5:50 when they close at 6 expecting that my grandfather can use the elevator. The staff refused to let us in even after my mother tried to speak with them. They suggested he walk all the way around up a ramp which is significantly more walking than the stairs would be. So my 80 year old grandfather had to climb up at the stairs at 5:56. I’m young, and i really don’t mean to be a “Karen” the views were amazing and i was so impressed but the staff really needs to step up their customer service skills to elevate the...
Read moreI recently visited Niagara Falls, and it was truly awe-inspiring! The sheer power and beauty of the falls left me speechless. I took the Maid of the Mist boat tour, which brought us right up to the base of the falls—an exhilarating experience! The views from both the American and Canadian sides are stunning, especially at sunset when the falls are illuminated. The surrounding parks are well-maintained, offering great walking paths and picnic spots. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the Journey Behind the Falls for a unique perspective. It's a must-see destination for anyone visiting Canada or the U.S. Highly...
Read moreI feel the best view is from the Canadian side where you can see the full falls in all their glory. The American side offers a closer look at the river and rapids—still a cool experience.
Caught the nighttime lights for the first time—bright beams illuminating the falls once it’s fully dark. In summer (Fri–Sun), there’s also a short fireworks show (just over 5 minutes) near the American Falls, likely launched from the Canadian side. A fun bonus to end the night.
📸 Jedi tip: arrive early on fireworks nights for a good...
