A little confusion when I tried to purchase 5 tickets with 7 ppl. So my family of 7 wanted to go see Ghostbusters. I asked for 5 tickets while my daughter and her boyfriend paid for their tickets at a different register. My cashier stated that an adult had to be with children under the age of 18. Oh that's fine and dandy! I only had two children with me anyhow. My other children are OVER 18!! Another employee assumed that my oldest daughter and her boyfriend weren't old enough to buy tickets for themselves or something. I had to inform BOTH employees we were going to the SAME movie and they are ADULTS! I stated this before paying separately. So informing me of their "RULE" was pointless. I must be the first person to come with other people and two pay SEPARATELY for the SAME movie. I really didn't understand what the problem was outside of throwing them business when I could have went to the Regal and enjoyed recliners. They do offer plenty of seating if you don't mind sitting on top of other people and a host of varies...
Read moreStaff was super friendly. Only reason I didn’t give 5 starts is because the concession counter was very sticky and had popcorn all over it as we ordered. They asked us did we have any discounts to take advantage of and named them all which I found to be pleasantly surprising as must theaters won’t let you in on the discounts. They offer veterans discount was was about $2 cheaper for each ticket. Came to about $50 with 3 tickets, large popcorn and a large icee. The good thing is they offer free refills on the large icee. The theater itself gives nostalgia in our modern world as the chairs were traditional movie theater seating as opposed to reclining leather chairs that we’ve become accustomed to. They were still comfortable. The movie credits were as long as some other theaters which I appreciated we got the 8pm showing of Inside Out 2 and the movie started at 8:15pm where as some theaters show what feels like 30 mins of...
Read moreThe Capitol Theater is a large movie theater that has 12 screening rooms to watch your favorite movies in. They serve hotdogs, popcorn, chips, candy and other snack foods and also different sized sodas to drink during your movie. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the facility and bathrooms are really clean. They have to implement a curfew after 6pm to stop all the stoopid kids in the area from causing trouble and being disruptive and kids must be accompanied by an adult at all times after 6pm. Sometimes when you visit the theater they will give away collectible posters and they sell popcorn tins and collectible cups as well. Overall, I'd give this theater a 4 star rating. We had a great time watching gotg 3 and will...
