Part 1 | Best Brunch in Rochester thus far 🥂#rochesterny #brunch #brunchtok #brunchideas #studiolounge #CapCut

I almost don't want to leave a review because it's so amazing, I just want to keep it a secret as currently it is a hidden gem. We went for brunch about two weeks ago and had amazing meals. Highly recommend the Duck French Toast. We also went for dinner for $1 oysters and live music. It was such a great atmosphere and again the food was amazing. I HATE mushrooms and found myself wanting more from their Chicken seasonal dish. The pork belly pasta was also delicious. so light and fresh, even though it was pasta. Make sure to save room for dessert with their cast iron cookie with pistachio Gelato. For two specialty drinks, 8 oysters, two meals, and 1 dessert, it came in at just under $100 which the food is so good, we were ok with the pricing. We also had the same waitress again and she is so great! Very attentive, honest with her suggestions, and friendly. The rest of the staff is also friendly. This is going to become our go to spot.

So I attended Studio Lounge years ago in 2022 before they had to rebuild and I loved it! The owner Chris was so nice he came around to each table personally, making sure we were satisfied and even gave our table complimentary green tea shots and desserts…I had never had that type of dining experience in all my years living in Rochester…..Fast forward to 2025 I went again with another group of friends and had a ball!….The service was great, we didn’t have to wait long at all….the appetizers and entrees came out hot and delicious nothing at the table had to be sent back …. the new young executive chef Keyonna Rogers (sorry if I’m spelling it wrong 😣) is definitely in that kitchen doing her thing because everything was flavorful. The drinks 10 out of 10! …we all had nothing bad to say….yes you will pay $50-$150 per person….but to me that’s definitely not bad prices for great food, drinks, atmosphere, and experience!

My recent visit to Studio Lounge left much to be desired. While the establishment boasts an aesthetically pleasing NYC-style lounge atmosphere, this was unfortunately the only positive aspect of my experience.

First and foremost, the bar selection was severely limited, with no draft beer available and contradictory information regarding their cocktail offerings. Despite being informed by the bartender that they don't serve cocktails, I later discovered on their website that they do indeed offer them.

Furthermore, the prices of drinks were exorbitant, far surpassing those of other fine dining establishments in the area. Regrettably, the quality of service provided by the staff did not justify these inflated prices. While some of the bartenders exhibited friendliness, the overall staff appeared in need of training, particularly the security personnel.

My entrance into the lounge was met with unwelcoming vibes from the security staff, despite being appropriately dressed. This left me questioning their policies and whether they enforced arbitrary clothing restrictions.

The predominant demographic of older men and younger women within the lounge gave off a disconcerting vibe, suggesting a place where young women may be seeking relationships with older, affluent individuals.

Ultimately, I would caution against visiting Studio Lounge if you're seeking a comfortable lounging experience or fine dining. Instead, I would recommend exploring other options in the area such as The Riverely, Nosh, Native, Trata, or Next door...

Booked a reservation yesterday for my best friends birthday for 5p. We arrived exactly at 5p. Upon entering we were greeted and confirmed our reservation. We were actually one of the first customers at this location outside a couple that walked in and sat at the bar. We were seated in a very dark corner with little to no light and a small candle that would stay lit. After about 5 minutes our waitress arrived. Never said hi or greeted up professionally. We were immediately told our table we were seated at and booked was reserved for another party at 630p and we would need to leave by then. We had not been offered water or ordered any drinks before being told we pretty much couldn’t enjoy our food and drinks due to being son a time limit. My friend was very upset due this being her birthday and such unprofessional service. We left feeling discriminated against. They should add a time limit notice when booking but I am pretty sure we were discriminated against....
