Suzette Lingerie — Local services in City of Yonkers

I’ve been coming here since I was in high school and they’ve always been a really great spot to go and get bras and get exact measurements. I came today I just had surgery and I kind of felt like the young lady that was there was very quick to try and pressure me to go somewhere else. I must’ve been in the store for 20 minutes the first 10 minutes she was trying to push me out. After a while, she realized I was really trying to buy something from the store. She wasn’t giving me many options. She was giving me colors that I didn’t want I requested black she kept giving me nude, beige, cream, not listening to anything I was saying. The bra sizes weren’t fitting even though she measured me. I told her I wasn’t a fan of cone cub bras and she kept giving me cone cup bras. As more customers came in she seemed very more interested in helping them find sexy lingerie than someone who openly admitted that they just had surgery and they needed undergarments to wear.

Very sad because it was always a go to place since I’ve been a kid won’t be...

My review is LOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG overdue... I've been shopping at Suzette lingerie since puberty and have continued long into adulthood. The ladies are always so warm, inviting, helpful and professional- especially when sizing. They've always educated me on how a bra should properly fit and support you (without spillage in the bust, back or sides). They have custom universal sizes that you won't find in a commercial store. Now... as a plus sized female, with an extreme hourglass shape it's hard to find bras and lingerie at commercial stores like Victoria's Secret or Macy's that fit me properly. I'm also a little nervous buying myself lingerie, but Charmae (patiently) put my mind at ease during my most recent visit. She helped to size me and found me 3 amazing lingerie sets that made me feel sexy and not frumpy! I HAVE to reiterate Isaac (owner) has an amazing staff, but Charmae is my personal rockstar! I have been to suzette lingerie multiple times & never had a bad experience until recently with the OWNER Isaac! I had called to voice my concerns on a new bra and shape wear I bought & he belittled me called me condescending, spoke over me and yelled!!!! Would not let me speak & twisting my words & acting like a child saying “he’s in trouble” this is no way to treat a customer spending money on expensive items most women heavy chested have a hard time finding in the first place. Once off the phone I was hysterical over the fact a man & owner could be so disrespectful to a upset customer just trying to find a bra. On a positive note all the WOMEN that work there are absolutely amazing & are extremely helpful!!!!! I went back to exchange my bra and the lady that helped me at the cash register had to apologize for the owners cruel words & totally understood where I was coming from & why...
