Dillard's — Local services in Clarksville

This place carries affordable and some lower end luxury brands such as Perry Ellis, Armani, and Louis Vuitton (they do not have the full line but they do carry the $1000 to $2000 bags). Great selection but very tailored to this area's clientele.

The only problem I had was I came during the NYE sale. Retail is rough and it is why I try to avoid shopping during huge sales. It is a place which required not only patience and courtesy from its customers but its staff as well. This, I expect more from the staff.

At the exit for the shoe section, there was a redhead named Heather who is completely rude and using the excuse of "its craziness here" to loudly direct but more like scold people to the entrance of their "sale" section. Even people who stood less than a foot away were scolded in a rude manner on the process. I would understand the rudeness if the situation warranted it.

However, the gentleman at the entrance was completely nice and courteous. He smiled and explained the process in a low yet projecting tone. A very stark contrast.

Been shopped here all the time when i stayed in IN. Just moved to GA and back here for family visit. I was so upset and attitude of staff. All most staffs are friendly. I went and bought a shirt for my mother in law because we missed Mother's Day. And i went and make a payment, the lady at cashier didn't even say hi or asked if everything is good. Then after i made a payment, there was no "thank you" or anything. After that, my mother in law saw some pants she liked. I said i wanted to get it for my mother in law too. The cashier grabbed the pants from me. And said say it will not fit my mom. Ok, fine. We walked away. Unbelievable. Serious? Why? Because my mother in law in the wheel chair. Or because i am Asian? Gosh, people like this is so sad. Never back this store again. Treat disabled...

I’ve been coming to Dillard’s for a few years now. Whenever I get Cardell, whom I 1st encountered at the home store., it’s always a good shopping experience. He then went to hand bags, I made sure I visited him there and made my 1st designer bag purchase with him. He then was gone for a while, he’s back and in the Shoe Dept currently. I’m so glad he’s back and able to assist me. He’s knowledgeable, wry helpful and lets you know when something does t look right together. He always dresses nice & stays well groomed. If he moves to bedding I’ll follow him there and let him sell me sheets I guess.. Cardell is great to converse with and get a good laugh. Thank you for all of your assistance throughout the years.
