DeWitt’s Jewelry — Local services in Cleveland

The option to give a business ZERO stars should be considered. This business does not deserve the 1 star I needed to place to begin leavin a review. I came to the arcade today after having not visited for years. Nice day - I'll take a walk over from my job @ the courthouse and have my watch repaired - needed a few links removed. The owner and other employee never looked up from what they were doing... barely a glance in my direction. I asked if they were open and he said: "come in.." while still scrolling on his phone. I let him know that I needed links removed and showed him the watch. He barely looked up before announcing : "do you need it now?" I said; I can wait if needed. He said no, sorry it will take me a few hours. I asked did I come at a bad time and he said no, it just takes me a few hours - sorry! Then he went back to scrolling on his phone! Judging by the other bad reviews I see here - its obvious that he has an issue with "certain people" visiting his establishment.

On a brighter note: a few doors down... COLONIAL COIN & JEWELERS -(in business over 100 years!!!) took care of me and treated me with respect. Fixed my watch in 3 min! I paid them, tipped the guy and left them a review - I appreciate being treated like a person & will definitely return to their establishment.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS...

When i decided to propose, rather sooner then i planed originally, i looked around the web for options other then "main stream" stores. I had everything planned out and needed a ring, obviously. I stopped my first time on tuesday i believe, to check them out. Was rather late, they were closing. I came wednesday during my lunch time. I told them what diamond and setting i want... They brought out my options, i chose what i liked and asked if it can be put together by saturday... Next day i got a voice mail that it is done and ready to be picked up. And so i did... You should have seen my then Fiancée's amazement when she got it ;)

P.S.: pay with cash, don't get into...
