Le Monthi Cafe & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Cocoa Beach

OMG WOW! This little shop packs a big punch! The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the variety of everything was insane! We just wanted to stop somewhere for ice cream because we had a craving for it all weekend and so glad it happened to be this place! Though we didn't try the other desserts or any of the many flavors of coffee or drink products it all looked and sounded incredible! Maybe I don't get out much but it was the first time I had heard of a Nutella waffle cone! Even though they had so many options and a good amount of toppings to choose from I got the basic vanilla bean in a waffle bowl and she got the mint chocolate in a waffle bowl and it was so good! Any place that can do the basics deliciously is great in my book! I wish I had been hungrier or we had more time on our visit to come back and try more at this place but it will for sure be on our list to hit when we visit again! The menu looks like it has some really tasty options on it and the inside is clean and very nicely decorated (that really stood out to me compared to many other businesses around the area.) We only came for ice cream though and out of the 7 of us that got ice cream, 3 didn’t like it at all (2 even had to throw it away). The 3 small kids really liked it. I was the 7th and thought the flavor was good but it had definitely gotten thawed and refrozen because there were ice crystals in it. Overall our group was disappointed and the 2 that threw theirs away went to another place to get different ice cream. I’m still interested in trying the other options, but as for an ice cream spot, this definitely didn’t...

We had absolutely delightful visit at the Le Monithi Cafe. Understated elegance, attention to detail, cleanness, staff friendliness, food quality were impeccable. Tried crepes, home made cookies and late. All superb. Thank you ! :)

2024, March: Quality of experience declined over the past year. Paper cups and plates replaced regular nice plates and cups. Fresh cookies are just "freshish". One person service means that it may take a while to get your order. Half of the ingredients for crepes were out. Current overall experience does not justify higher than regular prices.
