Custom Cowboy Shop — Local services in Cody

Went to several leather shops in Cody while on vacation. I was planning to buy several belts and a leather jacket. I asked the girl behind the counter (heavy set dark haired girl with waaaay too much makeup on) if they do leather repair...she said yes they have someone on staff that works downstairs...so I was going to buy a leather jacket but it had cuff snaps that were way too far apart and asked if I bought the jacket could he put new snaps in the correct places. She said no and that I would have to go to the other leather shop down the walkway...I asked the owners of that shop if they could do it....they said no but the man from Custom Cowboy does that all the time and he should be able to especially if you bought the jacket there...so I went back and asked...now the dark haired woman who got rude and said ..No he wont do it...so asked her why he wouldn't do it., especially if I bought the jacket today....she turned away...store is nice...staff member is rude and so if your leather man (cant remember his name)....I...

Store is nice and the merchandise selection is great. Our first experience was wonderful, we were helped by a very polite and helpful young lady who went out of her way to serve. Second experience completely erased that good memory. Two ladies were behind the counter talking to other customers. We were neither greeted nor asked if we needed help, walked through the store and left without any acknowledgement of our presence. I don’t know if we didn’t look like we were worthy or their time or if these ladies are just not interested in making sales. I will think twice about spending my money there from now on. Teach your girls not to rag on other girls fashion choices while working in a shop that sells a lot of western fashion pieces. Had to hear both of them make fun of NFR fashion and other women in this industry for 15 minutes straight while my husband shopped. It’s not a good look to tear down other women period, but in your place of work? At a literal western fashion store, ragging on western fashion? Tacky. It’s a small world in this industry, you never know who might actually know some of those “creators” they are shitting...
