Upon entering, the famous/historical, Irma Restaurant, I saw at the bar, there was a place set, honoring the 13 U.S. Service members killed, at the Kabul Airport, in Afghanistan. I felt, so proud to be in a place were America’s military personnel are truly, appreciated and respected enough that they would pay such a tribute to them. I guess, it only makes since to honor them and to continue to honor Colonel Cody (Buffalo Bill Cody) not only for his military service, but also for spending $80,000 in 1902 to construct this building. So, I finished my meal and was chatting with the cashier. I asked her, “So, does Irma, offer military service men and women a discount?” Her reply, put me into major shock, with her sharp and abrupt, “NO!.” Wow! I sure didn’t except that for an answer. I just couldn’t hardly believe what I had just heard. So, it looks like, Irma Restaurant (which bears Colonel Cody’s daughters name) only honors died military members and don’t care about honoring those who continue to fight for our freedoms and keep us safe.
God, PLEASE, bless and watch over all those who keeps us out of harm’s way and provides us Freedom, and PLEASE, bless their families as well. Also, God, PLEASE, forgive and open those individuals and businesses eyes, who are reaping the benefits and blessings from those that are giving 100% service to this great Nation and are not welling to give them at least a 10% discount. God Bless...
Read moreFood was old and cold. The staff was rude. We were walking out and a busboy looked right at my son and pushed into him. It wasn’t crowded he just chose to push him he bumped into me and my husband as well. The cashier will long straight brunette hair seemed very confused. We were checking out and she never said anything I had to ask her if we were done or if she needed anything because she didn’t say anything the entire time. Would not trust reviews, would not recommend. Wyoming is full of amazing people and this out of 6 week trip here was very out of the ordinary. Buffet is also more expensive than they advertise online.
This was my review from 2 years ago. We recently returned and glad we did. Our server was fantastic she was so sweet. The food was much better the buffet looked like it had been sitting there waiting for us since the last time we had been. We tried plated food this time and really enjoyed it. They are very understaffed now so come with patience they really are doing their best. The older guy that has the cool cowboy outfit and cowboy hat in the front needs a vacation. Please get him on a cruise somewhere he...
Read moreWe came 2 days in a row, Thursday around 3:30pm. I had salad bar and soup (Ham and butter beans) which was very good. My husband had the Reuben which he really liked. He ordered onion rings which he thought were just okay. But I was especially disappointed to see an extra $2 charge for them as our server didn't tell us this when she mentioned them as an option for his side dish.
Came again on Friday around 1pm which was an hour before the lunch buffet ended so I tried it. Food was good but I didn't like that they didn't have labels next to the food. The guy doing the carving wasn't very friendly either, didn't say a word to me. My husband tried the buffalo burger and he really liked it. He usually does burgers well done but the server recommended no more than medium because the meat is very lean. Good advice.
Overall we like coming here. Both our servers were friendly although second one was a bit louder than I like, but it's just the...
