My husband and I could not give Mercury Leather Works enough praise on the quality of products, professionalism and integrity. As a matter of fact, because they follow through (to ensure the product is right) we won’t buy from anyone else. Over the years, Trajan and Hailey have become great friends of ours. I traveled from eastern Iowa and stopped in Cody on my way to Yellowstone. Before the trip, I looked for a local leather shop to get a quality belt and found Mercury Leather Works. The owner was incredible—friendly, helpful, and takes pride in his work. The belt size I wanted wasn’t in stock, but he and his team went above and beyond to make one for me and had it ready the next day. The craftsmanship and customer service were outstanding. I really appreciate their shop and would absolutely work with them again....

Wanted to by a belt and buckle at the end of the summer season. Found one at their store, but the owners of the store would not provide a modest discount to local residents. They would rather loose a sale to a potential repeat customer who lives locally than provide a small discount, unlike most of the businesses in Cody. The owners obviously don’t understand the culture of the residents of Cody which is helping one another out. Won’t shop...
